What’s in My Diaper Bag?

Greta wrote a great post recently revealing the contents of her diaper bag. I thought I’d take her cue and do my own.
Diapers
Because I sometimes get lazy, I’ve got Teddy’s Choice Ultra Comfort Diapers (disposable) in our Spiderman backpack come diaper bag. However, I’ve also got bumGenius 3.0 (cloth) in this bag.
A great tip for Canadian moms, Teddy’s Choice diapers are inexpensive but just as dependable as the name brand diapers, especially for boys. We use the store brand wipes as well and pack whatever bum cream we got for free from a magazine or in the mail. BumGenius cloth diapers have been known to last for many hours without even a hint of leakage. The Teddy’s Choice diapers can be found at presidentschoice.ca and the bumGenius are found at most cloth diapering stores and many online trading posts, like diaperswappers.com.
Toys
One of the toys in our diaper bag is the Bright Starts Tuggy Buddies Horse. Pull the horse and he will vibrate back up his cord. My littlest man likes the bright colors and movement of this travelling toy. Link it to whatever you like and go! We got it for a gift when he was born, but I saw it at babyant.com for $6.99.
Spit-Up Blankets
We’ve got an assortment of these and there’s usually one in our diaper bag. walmart.com sells Gerber Flannel Burp Cloths in 4-packs of cute patterns and colors for $8.56.
Extra Clothes
We always carry extra clothes in the bag, just in case. I especially like Gerber’s line of Organic onesies, also sold at Wal-Mart. Plain ones are under $9.00 and just strike me as a comfy choice for baby and the printed ones are a bit more but super cute. I like to throw a pair of jeans or fuzzy pants in to match them up with.
