Playmobile Christmas in the Forest Advent Calendar

My family always had an Advent Calendar at Christmas time when I was a child. It was so exciting to open the window each day and see what was hiding behind it. Since I’ve been a parent, I have only managed to find an Advent Calendar one year. This year, I was delighted to run into this fun one from playmobile. Behind each window is a playmobile toy. We don’t really need a bunch more small toys around when the baby arrives, but I couldn’t resist. I can’t wait to see my daughters’ reactions when December First rolls around.
I actually bought the pirate version, because that is the one I found in the store, but I like this Christmas in the Forest one a bit better. You can purchase either version at Amazon.com for $16.99.
I love this idea! It’s so hard to find nice advent calendars that have meaning yet the kids will still enjoy.
