Patagonia has made a name for itself as the maker of some of the best outdoorwear on the market.  This Baby Puff Rider jacket is no exception.  I was drawn to it by the bright green color, which is one of my all-time favorites, but there are lots of other things to love about this jacket, too.

It is completely weather-resistant, and guaranteed to keep your child warm even when it is cold and wet outside.  The hood is designed to fit snuggly around the child’s head, and elasticized cuffs prevent cold air from sneaking in at the sleeves.  I have bought a lot of jackets for my kids because I liked the way they looked, only to hear later that they weren’t very warm.  You won’t have to worry about that with this coat.

One of my favorite products for my younger daughter was a gorgeous cable knit bunting from Ralph Lauren.  Ours is very similar to this one, although we didn’t opt for the added luxury of cashmere.  The great thing about a bunting is that it is cozy and snug in cool weather.  The downsides are that they cannot be used in a car seat or most strollers/baby carriers.  I enjoyed using our with either the bassinet attachment for our stroller or a sling.

This Nordic Fleece Baby Jacket is easy wear and easy care! Fleece is such a kid-friendly fabric because of its durability and comfy fit. This summer outfit caught my eye right away - might be a good idea for keeping track of your toddler. I love the colorful print of the Fish Tee with Seascape Shorts by Me Too because it reminds me of all the fun our family had at the local aquariums. It’s absolutely essential for children’s clothing to not only be attractive, but also practical. And practical for a child means comfort and ease of movement. The Dagmar Daley Expedition Jacket looks like a lightweight alternative to a heavy winter coat and one that your child may be more likely to keep on. Notice the buttons around the neck and hood area: button or unbutton to adjust to the weather. I wish I’d had this for my boys when we were on walks up at the Griffith Observatory. It can get a little windy up there, even on the lawns in the evenings when it’s Star Night.

I thought I had a coming home outfit for baby number three all picked out, with months to spare, and then I saw this incredible outfit from Tiny Sprouts, and I’m starting to rethink things just a little.  If, like us, you have a name picked out well in advance, this set is ideal.  The idea behind it is absolutely ingenious.  Not only is the outfit adorable, but the optional embroidery adds an extra special touch that will make it a family keepsake.  It would be perfect to frame and hang on the wall when it is outgrown.

I’m not big on sullying the name of Shakespeare with pee quotes, but I do have a sense of humor and can see the fun in this Shakespeare Funzie by Hoity Toys. However, that’s not to say I would buy it for my own baby. I do like the crisp white of the onesie, (called a “Funzie”), and the price is right ($11.) The picture is colorful and the writing simple and understated, things I like in baby clothing.

I’m still trying to adjust myself to the possibility that I may be carrying a boy after two girls. I’ve been trying to start a shopping list in case that information is confirmed in the next few weeks. I have a lot of trouble finding clothes for boys that I like.
