The Small Duck Organic Cotton Wall Print is sweet, eco-friendly, and perfect for building a nursery around. Prop it on a dresser, as shown, or perhaps get other organic prints to complement it from RosenberryRooms.com and make a grouping above the change table, dresser or crib. Paint the walls a shade of yellow to match with furniture in the same brown hues as the ducks’ feet and bills to finish it off perfectly. Green cushions and crib sheets will complete a nursery made for either boy or girl. Starting with a $24 non-toxic, water-based print is the ideal way to put together a nursery made to be easy on baby’s eyes and calming for naps and bedtime.

It’s a shame that Christmas is over, as now I have to look for an excuse to buy this awesome Treasure Map Mural by Oopsy Daisy for my son’s room! He’s really into pirates right now, and would love to gaze at this mural on his wall. It is made in the USA from durable canvas, and comes with metal grommets to make hanging easy. The size of the mural, 43″ x 36″, is perfect to decorate the wall of a child’s room.
We are planning to repaint my son’s room soon, so, perhaps I could use that as an excuse to purchase this mural? If you don’t need to find an excuse to do so, you can buy it at MagicCabin.com, where it’s currently on sale for $65.99 (half the original price of $139.95).

This Travel Wall Panel by educo is a different way for your youngster to find his way through a maze puzzle. Usually these types of mazes are set on a wooden platform or table. Place this Wall Panel at a child’s height and he’ll naturally gravitate to the colorful print and moving parts.
This would also be helpful if you’re a little tight for space. It eliminates the need for a table or floor space. And it makes a bright and cheery wall mural also.

The Dashboard Driving Activity Wall Panel by Anatex has a key and ignition, steering wheel and horn, gearshift, speedometer and a pretend window with an open road ahead. All you have to do is pull up a comfortable chair and your child is on his way.
All children want to get a hold of the steering wheel. One day I drew a picture much like the one for the Dashboard Driving Activity Wall Panel on poster board and taped it to the wall. It didn’t have working instruments but I improvised. I used a cardboard roll from a Christmas wrap and taped it to the chair as a gear shift. I think I cut out a steering wheel from cardboard also and attached it to something my kids could pretend to steer. My three children took turns being the driver. We set up more chairs for a passenger seat and back seat, and whomever was driving pretended to be a taxi driver. We placed a stereo radio by the steering wheel and played music. It was fun!
With all the extras and sounds, I’m sure this Dashboard Driving Activity Wall Panel will really help your child to imagine he is behind the wheel. If you get in the “car” with him you’ll really enjoy listening to his imagination.
This toy is designed for ages 3 and up, and measures 23.5″ x 27″ x 2.” Purchase one for $149.87 at 1888toys.com.

The Candy Factory Wallcandy is pretty delightful, if you ask me; it’s bright, cheery, and moveable. This Candy Land inspired art encourages fine motor skills (the moving), creative thinking (designing patterns from the decals), and fun. It’d make a wonderful play room decoration or even go nicely along a hallway, perhaps one leading to a child’s room, depending on how adventurous your tastes are.
Though I’d be afraid my son would simply drag the pieces all over the place, losing them all over the house, I do love the idea of these decals. I’m a fan of all things creative and colorful. The price tag for 18 feet of grass, 12 flowers made from lollipops, 12 peppermint roses, 24 bushes in gumdrop shapes and 68 little gumballs is $75.00 at shopgenes.com.
