Our weather is very transitional at the moment–often cold in the morning, but sometimes warm as can be by afternoon. I find that vests are a great way to go on days like these. Because we are in the midst of renovating the playroom, I bought a gorgeous print from Etsy shop TR Mack Studio. My print of choice was “The Tree of Happiness” and it is just as gorgeous in person as it was on the site. Packaged in plastic and again in a heavy envelope and shipped just as I requested, the vibrant print cost $13.50 and was worth every penny. After I frame it, it will add a lovely touch to our playroom. I’m sure it will be a conversation piece for visitors. Change out art to match the season; the kids will love trying to find out which prints mom has put up. Everyone can enjoy having an art discussion whenever a new one comes in the mail. She has all kinds available, from Halloween prints such as this one to winter scenes to scenes appropriate for spring and Easter. Only $15 and absolutely breathtaking, not to mention original, I’ve got my eye on a print for my own house.

However, if you’re not on the market for any more school apparel, I love that even a 2-year-old can be a fashion maven with the cool jeans and preppy tops.

Finding bedding for a child’s room can be fun, but it can also be a chore. You want to find something that everyone can be happy with, you want it to be practical but attractive, and you want it to be relatively easy to clean. You probably also want it to last for a while. Having coordinating accessories is also a big plus.
