My sons received matching robot tees this Christmas from their grandparents. They were purchased at Bonnie Togs, a store with some reasonable prices and cute choices. The size 4 fits my 4-year-old perfectly and the size 2 is just right for my 1-year-old (he’s a big boy) and couldn’t be any cuter. Because I miss out on ribbons, bows, and pink, sometimes it’s fun to dress my boys in similar outfits. I’ll pair their matching robot tees with jeans and sneakers and satisfy my need to have fun with their clothing!

Now is the time to stock up on warm winter clothes for the remainder of this year or for next. There are tons of great deals to be had on clothing that can still be worn for quite a few more months, depending on where you live. I am a huge fan of fleece lined jeans for my little ones in the winter. We have quite a few pairs from both Gap and Old Navy, and they get a lot of use. They match just about anything and look great, but they are a lot warmer and softer than traditional denim. Right now, you can get this especially cute pair for $15 at oldnavy.gap.com. They are available in sizes from 6-12 months up to 5T. You might want to check these out in the store, too, as I often find better prices there.

Most children, especially pre-school and kindergarten kids, love to help bake holiday treats. What could be better than a personalized Reindeer Apron for that little baker? On sale for $14.99, with charges of $6.50 for personalization, it’s the little things that delight children at PotteryBarnKids.com.
Put together a basket for your child filled with baking supplies, the apron, baking tools like bowls and spoons, and you’ve got a great (albeit early) gift scratched off your list. Include a note promising that you will help her bake a plate of cookies and pour some milk to leave out for Santa on Christmas Eve and spread a little magic this holiday season.

Everyone loves Free Shipping. I know that I’ve passed up on several good deals this holiday season because the shipping was ridiculous. Wheni was browsing through the entire Free Shipping Store at ToysRUs.com, I came upon the Skelanimals line of stuffed friends. I love the patterned pair, the monkey and the cat. Only $4.79 with free shipping—who can beat that?

Right now, many fall styles from The Children’s Place are on sale for as little as $3.99. Options for boys and girls include thermals (like the one pictured), twill pants, yoga tops, tees, slippers, and skirts. Act quickly, though, as many styles I looked at were already selling out. While you are there, check out the many holiday styles on sale as well. You can also save 15% off your purchase with the code K6999 at ChildrensPlace.com.

Our weather is very transitional at the moment–often cold in the morning, but sometimes warm as can be by afternoon. I find that vests are a great way to go on days like these. I recently purchased one of these cute little vests for my three year old from Old Navy. She loves the pink color and the faux fur. I love that it is warm, but not hugely bulky, so I’m not fighting with the carseat straps. It is also easy to get on and off, because although it has both a zipper and velcro, the velcro keeps it closed on its own in a hurry. This helps my daughter be a little more self-sufficient, something I definitely appreciate as I try to get three girls out the door each morning. You can currently purchase one of these vests on sale for $18 (down from $24.50) at oldnavy.gap.com. I am pretty sure I only paid $15 in the store, however.

From November 6 through November 9, you can buy Kushies Zebra Booties Box Set for a steal - $2.99 (instead of their regular price of $9.99). I love these sweet pajamas from Old Navy. I’m seeing deer-themed clothing everywhere these days, but few of the pieces are affordable as this one. These 100% cotton jammies are available in sizes from 3-6 months up to 5T. I love to layer sets like this one under a fleece sleeper. This allows for warmth, while keeping cotton next to the skin. They are also on sale for just $9.99. You can purchase a pair at OldNavy.Gap.com. Check out their other fun designs while you are there.

Because we are in the midst of renovating the playroom, I bought a gorgeous print from Etsy shop TR Mack Studio. My print of choice was “The Tree of Happiness” and it is just as gorgeous in person as it was on the site. Packaged in plastic and again in a heavy envelope and shipped just as I requested, the vibrant print cost $13.50 and was worth every penny. After I frame it, it will add a lovely touch to our playroom. I’m sure it will be a conversation piece for visitors. There are many prints in all kinds of shapes and all as beautifully rendered as this one. Also, original paintings are available.

I think this outfit from The Children’s Place looks a lot more expensive than it is. I love the playful pairing of the floral top and the plaid pants. I would put any of my daughters in this outfit., although I’d probably not go for the boots. The top is just $5.99 and the pants are $7.99. You can top it off with the fun cap for another $4.99. You can check it all out at childrensplace.com. There are a lot of other cute pieces in this very affordable line as well.

After spotting the Witch and Black Cat primitive folk art print (5×7) at etsy.com seller tascha’s shop, I thought to myself, what a great idea!! Change out art to match the season; the kids will love trying to find out which prints mom has put up. Everyone can enjoy having an art discussion whenever a new one comes in the mail. She has all kinds available, from Halloween prints such as this one to winter scenes to scenes appropriate for spring and Easter. Only $15 and absolutely breathtaking, not to mention original, I’ve got my eye on a print for my own house.

I love the look of a warm, puffy vest for fall. This fun version from Old Navy is available in a number of fun reversible patterns, and in sizes from 6-12 months up to 5T. Whether you have a boy or a girl, you will want to check these out. This will look great over a cozy sweater this fall. You can purchase one on sale for $20 at oldnavy.gap.com.

If you haven’t quite finished your school shopping, American Eagle Outfitters 77kids collection is worth a look. There are even $7 graphic tees. You can’t beat prices that low for sizes 2-12, especially with school already in for the year. My favorite? The 77 Bandits Graphic T in Titan Red. However, if you’re not on the market for any more school apparel, I love that even a 2-year-old can be a fashion maven with the cool jeans and preppy tops.

Finding bedding for a child’s room can be fun, but it can also be a chore. You want to find something that everyone can be happy with, you want it to be practical but attractive, and you want it to be relatively easy to clean. You probably also want it to last for a while. Having coordinating accessories is also a big plus.
This great little set from Circo (Target) is a great buy. Not only is it as sweet as can be, but it is very affordable. I love the nature theme, and the super-cute owls are all the rage in upscale bedding right now. I prefer the quilt to the comforter, but both are cute. The quilt set is on sale for $48 at Target.com. The cute little owl pillow completes the look for $17.09. It is also a great excuse for a trip to Target!
