While for the most part I have to say that I am glad to be back in regular clothes again, a small part of me misses my maternity wardrobe. As I hunt out transition and nursing clothing, my eyes keep wandering back to the maternity lines. I just caught myself drooling over this great turtleneck from Isabella Oliver. I absolutely love the shape which is very flattering to the pregnant body. This tunic length top features a comfortable, loose turtleneck and faux wrap detail at the bust. It looks chic and exceedingly comfortable all at the same time.
This would be a great look for the office, but it is also casual enough to wear with jeans. You can purchase one for $130 at IsabellaOliver.com. The company’s annual sale begins on December 27th.

I was disappointed to discover this weekend that our favorite out of town mall has ditched many of my favorite stores, including just about every store that sells maternity clothes! I ended up checking out the selection at JCPenney, which otherwise wouldn’t have occurred to me. I fell in love with this great sweater and ended up buying two of them. Made by a.n.a, these sweaters are made from an incredibly soft blend of cotton and cashmere. I’ve reached the point where I hate having things rubbing against my belly, so this soft fabric is perfect.
The cut of this Shirred Turtleneck sweater is very flattering–it has just the right amount of cling/shape. You won’t look like a tent, but it has enough fabric to cover your belly well, and it isn’t irritatingly tight. The deep colors are perfect for the season. I bought the green and red, but now I’m wishing I had gotten then black and grey as well. Best of all, these sweaters are currently on sale. You can purchase one for $24.95 at jcpenney.com.

I am absolutely in love with this top from Japanese Weekend, a brand that has never disappointed me. Made from an ultra-soft bamboo blend, this is sure to flatter, and can be worn both during and after your pregnancy.
I love the neckline of this Bamboo During & After Turtleneck. Having a dark colored turtleneck next to your face can really accent your eyes and other features–something you definitely need during pregnancy when you aren’t always feeling your best. I also like the flattering gathers on the bodice. Overall, I think this shirt has a shape that will suit any figure, and which will be very forgiving post-baby (as will the dark color). It even provides easy access for nursing.
This turtleneck could be dressed up or down, worn with jeans or a skirt; it seems very versatile. You can purchase one on sale for $64.60 at babycenterstore.
