I’m not entirely convinced my 3-year-old would get hours of play from the Double Track Racing Tower. It might be too simple and the cars too generic. He has wooden trains that have never caught his interest. However, it is slated for children 18 months and up. For younger children whose imaginations are sparked by wooden toys (and for parents with a preference for natural toys), this set is a good choice. Children would certainly enjoy watching the cars transition from upper to lower tracks. Challenging friends and parents to races or going it solo will be fun for your little ones with the Tower from HearthSong.com for a slightly inflated price of $69.98.

I have learned from experience that having storage for children works best when it’s easily accessible to a child. If a child has to open a drawer, open a closet door, hang up anything or fold anything, she usually won’t do it. The item will end up on the floor.
The Jax Organic Storage Tower from Nest is a great option. It’s a fun design and color for your child’s room and can fit in almost any corner. The dimensions are W 14.5 x H 40 x D 16in. Of course, this Storage Tower can be used for just about any storage need in your home, from the cradle to the college dorm room. As I look at the picture I’m thinking, socks, tees, shorts. But it can just as easily be used for diaper supplies or toys (legos, soft toys, action figures).

My girls always like to feel like they’re involved in my daily activities whether it’s cooking dinner, cleaning the house or working outside. My oldest, Zoe, has her own little stool to stand on to get up to the counter, but I’m always nervous that she may lose her balance. That’s why this Learning Tower caught my eye.
This stool has 4-sides and a roomy platform that makes me feel much more relaxed when Zoe is up on it. The best part is that this tower adjusts as your child grows! You can move the platform to accommodate your growing child so you’ll be sure to get years of use out of it.
Babyscholars.com sells this tower for $179.95.

My son has the Little Tikes B.C. Builders I-Fell Tower and after the initial confusion over how to put the tower together, he has had no trouble throwing it together and either pressing the button to knock it all down or using the dinosaur’s tail to destroy it.
He’s a fan of puzzles and couldn’t be any happier than when he’s playing with something that involves assembly. What little person doesn’t love destroying (with permission!) what he’s built up?! Perfect for the imaginative preschooler mind, the colorful set comes with a dinosaur that makes constructions noises, boulders, a tower, and some cavemen.
You can get yours at amazon.com for $58.20.
