At The Gap, they make it easy for those who don’t like to put together their children’s outfits. They have “Get the Look” files in which they list all the things included in a featured outfit. What could be easier? Charming Prints from the Chelsea Collection is a layered look I think would suit any baby boy. Stripes, fall colors, and even matching boots are all listed for you right on Gap.com.

My oldest son has a pair of shorts just like these Gap Cargo Shorts. I think these would be just as useful for his little brother. I can dress them up by adding a polo shirt or button-up shirt or down by just putting them on with a tee. Easy to get on and off and you don’t even have to think about what you’re matching them to, as they’re neutral in color, I think these shorts are a staple to any little boy’s summer wardrobe. This pair is on sale for $14.99 at Gap.com in sizes 0 right up to 24 Months.

Baby Gap is currently having a huge store-wide summer clearance event. They have some pretty significant mark downs on summer favorites like shorts and tees (lots are under $10), that make them competitive with the prices at stores such as Target or Walmart. I quite like these cute Signs of the Zodiac Onesies, which are on sale for just $4.99. You can shop the whole sale at gap.com.

I have to admit—when I think of The Gap, I think overpriced. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find many deals on Gap.com in the children’s wear section: Play clothes priced at 2 for $20; Sleepers, rompers, and other cute items for under $20; Onesies for as low as $7.99; $3.99 active knit pants; $19.99 Robeez shoes. The only downfall? Sizes are limited.
The piece that really caught my eye in the Sale section was Sand Khaki Floral Beachcomber shorts in sizes all the way from 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-18, and right up to 18-24 months. My husband has a pair of shorts that are similar to these, and for only $12.99, my boys would look awfully cute running along behind him in these Gap shorts. A perfect Kodak moment! Even better? The Navy Floral version is only $7.99. Dressing baby in higher end clothing can be really affordable if you do the legwork and watch the sales!

TheGap is having their Stock Up and Save Event, meaning the more you buy, the more you save. It’s worth a look if you’ve got a lot you need to buy for your little one (or little one to be.) Several of their organic baby onesies are Buy 2 or more and get them for $11.00 each. Orange jubilee striped long sleeve bodysuits are buy 2 or more and get them for $10.00 each, but if you buy it in yellow, you can get it for $6.99! $3.50 for a bear rattle or $4.95 for a similar bath mitt certainly isn’t bad and the coordinating bear bath towels are $15.50 down from $19.50. As a set, it would be bear-y cute indeed. Stick it in a basket or pretty bag and you’ve got your next shower gift.
There’s not only the Stock Up sale but a clearance sale going on as well, which is where I found these delightful Dinosaur Slippers. What little kid wouldn’t enjoy going around with fun dinos for feet? For only $5.97, it’s no wonder I really like these cute foot warmers. They’re only left in size small (12-18 months), so grab ‘em up while you can! Envelop your little one’s feet in fleece this winter, because so far, it’s been a cold one.

Sometimes even the most fashion conscious celebrity parents shop at the Gap. Suri Cruise was recently spotted out and about in this pleated denim skirt from the company. Although it is a departure from many of the high-end designer clothes she is often photographed wearing, it it quite sweet. It is also very versatile and could be paired with just about any top and dressed up or down depending on shirt and shoe selection.
The skirt is 100% cotton and machine washable. You can buy one for $26.50 at The Gap.

I saw this Cable Knit One-Piece by The Gap and couldn’t take my eyes off it. On a little boy, it would be the cutest thing I’ve spotted yet.
Surprisingly, it’s machine washable, as it is made from 45% Nylon, 45% Acrylic, 10% Angora. It really needs nothing more to make it worthy of smiles and swoons, but a knitted hat would go wonderfully…and perhaps a pair of Ugg inspired boots to add pizzazz as well.
Though I was always too paranoid to let my son sleep in anything with button closures (rather than zipper or snap), this outfit was made for going out and showing off anyway, I’d envy any mom on the block with this luxurious little number for her little bundle. In sizes 0-3, 3-6, and 6-12, it’s $36.50 at Gap.com.

One-piece open foot sleepers in thin cotton are one of the most adorable baby items I’ve run across. I love the look of long johns, especially on little ones. With their big bellies and little legs, it’s tough not to ooh and aah over a baby dressed in something like the Favorite One-piece by The Gap. Imagine it paired with a matching hat and swoon (I know I have!)
Made of 100% cotton, something I’m adoring about The Gap baby clothes, as they all seem to be, it’s comfy- looking and comes in all sorts of sizes, from up To 7 lbs right up to 24M. It comes in a variety of colors, including English rose (pictured), Chocolate Raspberry, Garden Green, and Raw Indigo. To top all that off, it’s $14.50 at The Gap and sure not to break the bank.

Graphic tees and onesies are sweeping baby fashions everywhere. Leave it to The Gap not to miss out on the trend but to also add to it with completely original versions. I particularly like the “Just Hatched” bodysuit and would without a doubt wear it on a newborn babe.
It’s 100% cotton and offered in many sizes, from 7 lbs up to 24M. Since there are several styles of the farm animal graphic onesies, you can get them for $11 each should you buy 2 or more. Pick your favorite animal on the farm at The Gap.

If I weren’t having a baby boy, I’d be hunkering for this soother holder. However, there are several other patterns and colors available. I used these types of clips for the entire 10 months my son used soothers. However, I had very few that were stylish and funky, something I appreciate in baby clothes and accessories.
Bella Tunno’s Binky Holder ismade of polyester and made for wiping clean so very practical. Knowing how babies spit up on pretty much everything or slop food, that’s an important detail. For a reasonable asking price of $8.00, the binky holder is found at The Gap.com.

Lately, I love the softness and luxuriousness that is organic baby wear. When I spotted the organic crib sheets available at The Gap, I basked in glorious organic materials and pretty patterns. In particular, I found the Safari Blue set to be right up my alley. I can just picture my little one enjoying the fun pattern and the texture of the natural fibres against his skin.
I’m very tempted to splurge a little and buy the $19.00 sheet right this very minute! Funky patterns and vivid colors (without being overwhelming) are just my flavor at the moment. I’m glad to share the fun, though, and send you off to Gap.com for your own.
