I’m not usually a big fan of halter tops or dresses on young children, but this sweet little dress from Baby Gap manages to avoid the spaghetti straps and overly-adult styling that usually turn me off. I love Anthropologie’s women’s collection, so I don’t know how it escaped my attention until now that the company also offers a selection of fun children’s clothing.  This Bashful Elephant Sweater by liaMolly is a great example of the sweet clothes that are included in the collection.

This cute little sweater, which has been seen on Suri Cruise, features an adorable elephant on the back and velvet-stemmed flowers on the front.  I love the rounded front pockets which are perfect for little hands or for stowing tiny treasures. The sweater is made from cotton and features snap closures.

I always like to see celebs during pregnancy, celebs and their babies, and celeb after-baby bods, but I don’t always like the price tags on the celeb baby buys. Suri Cruise has been seen with several different My Little Travelwraps, a brand of blanket touted as the “perfect woolly nest.” Made for children and sold with a linen backpack to carry it in, it is a gorgeous gift for any occasion. I especially like The Treehouse, a lovely blue version that brings to mind trips to the beach.

For those of us who aren’t interested in the £145 price tag on the Scottish cashmere blanket, are there other options? The famous little miss has the means and the need for such lush blankets, but for my family, a rainbow of cashmere is not a necessity. Last of all,  I spotted a Pure Cashmere Baby Blanket (Yellow 3 Ply) outlined with satin by The Pashmina Store on Amazon.com for $69.99 if you’re in it for the real thing. Done in a sunny yellow, it is a lush choice at half the cost.

Sometimes even the most fashion conscious celebrity parents shop at the Gap.  Suri Cruise was recently spotted out and about in this pleated denim skirt from the company.  Although it is a departure from many of the high-end designer clothes she is often photographed wearing, it it quite sweet.  It is also very versatile and could be paired with just about any top and dressed up or down depending on shirt and shoe selection.

This sweet little doll by Corolle is suddenly the doll among celebrity babies with Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Suri Cruise carrying them around.  It is easy to see the attraction.  The doll is quite life-like, and is the size of a real newborn (20 in), which allows him/her to wear real baby clothes.

I think most children, both boys and girls would have a lot of fun with this sweet little doll.  You can purchase one for $79.95 at shopatron.com.  It would make a very nice gift as well.

These shoes have received a lot of press recently, after Tom Cruise told Oprah that they were Suri’s favorites. Denise Richards is also a big fan of the line. The shoes really are sweet. Suri’s pair feature ladybugs, but you can also buy frogs, cows, bugs,pigs, spiders, monsters, bees, and of course, monkeys.

Shoes are made from painted canvas with a rubber sole. Although I definitely think they are cute, to me they don’t look like they have a ton of support for little feet. Little Suri Cruise and Kingston Rosdale (Gwen Stefani’s kid) are already little fashionistas. These mini trends setters have been spotted hanging out and sporting baby Burberry attire. Suri was seen in the arms of her daddy wearing a cute little cotton pleated dress with a wide skirt, gunflaps and 2 patch pockets; it goes for $180.00.
