Rock-a-Thigh Baby Little Boy Blue Socks

yhst-15606766130760_2088_2040279

One of my pet peeves is socks that won’t stay up. Rock-a-Thigh Baby makes thigh-high socks guaranteed to stay up on babies’ and toddlers’ legs. These give full coverage like tights, yet are convenient to put on and take off like socks. Best of all, this company makes styles for boys and girls (unlike most of these tights companies who cater to females). Available in sizes from 0-6 months to 2-4 years, you can purchase this cute Little Boy Blue style for $14 at RockAThighBaby.com.

Three pairs of socks are included in the set, which comes in sizes from newborn to age 2. They sell for $26 at Lavish.com.

Plus, when laundry time comes, you can use the velcro straps to secure the socks together, so there will be no more lost or mismatched socks! Sounds like a great idea to me. Hank and JoJo Retro Baby Tube Socks

Hank and JoJo Retro Baby Tube Socks

Tube socks seem to be making a comeback. I recently saw this somewhat disturbing trend on teenage girls while we were on vacation. While I don’t care for the look on adults, it is pretty cute on wee ones. This Hank and JoJo Retro Baby Tube Socks set lets you and your baby get in on teh fun. It features four colorful pairs made from Bamboo using toxin-free dyes all packed in a sweet little lunchbox. You can purchase the set, which would make a great gift, for $30 at modernmoppet.com.

Upscale on a Budget: Paul Frank at Target

Upscale on a Budget: Paul Frank at Target

One of Target’s most recent style coups is a line from Paul Frank. Although these items are not available online at this time, I have seen quite a few of them in our mid-sized Target store. Girls’ t-shirts retail for $8.99, and there are some pretty cute raincoats for $12.99 (and matching umbrellas too). I didn’t think to check out the boys’ department, but I would imagine there are tees there as well. If you are a Paul Frank fan, I would definitely recommend a trip to Target to check it out. I’m thinking one of the tees may end up in my daughter’s back to school wardrobe. In the meantime, you can get your Paul Frank fix at Target online with this 3-pack of socks for $9.99.

Juicy Couture Baby Boys 3 Pcs Socks Gift Set

Juicy Couture Baby Boys 3 Pcs Socks Gift Set

I often find Juicy Couture’s offerings to be a bit over-the-top for my taste, but this cute little sock gift set is as sweet and simple as can be. It includes three pairs of infant socks in traditional boy colors. This would be a great gift for a little boy to be.It even comes perfectly packaged for gift giving. The price makes it a bit of an extravagance, however. You can purchase the set for $38 at shopbabytrends.com.

Pork Chops by Pork Chop Kids

pork-chops

Recently I came across a fabulous idea while browsing the Internet - Pork Chops. These are thigh-high coverings for babies (they cover baby’s “pork chops”). Easier to navigate diaper changes than tights or leggings, plus providing extra cushion on the knees for early crawlers, Pork Chops are fashionable and functional. Baby can’t remove them either, as with regular socks. All Pork Chops have non-skid bottoms on the feet as well, for added safety. I especially like these Bright Stripe Pork Chops. The company also sells them in Argyle, Neapolitan Dot, and Red Dot. Pork Chops are available in sizes from 6-12 months to 6-8 years. Each pair is $18 at PorkChopKids.com.
