Giesswein makes some of the cutest wool slippers I’ve ever seen. There are, however, rather pricey, and I don’t see them on sale very often. Currently, however, there are a lot of sale and clearance pairs at endless.com. I particularly like this cute pink pair, which has been reduced to $35.72 (from $64.95). Many other discounted styles are also available. You can check out all of the sites Giesswein offerings at endless.com.

These handcrafted Padraig Slippers are as cute and cozy as can be. Made of wool yarn from New Zealand, they are crocheted by hand, and designed to stay put on little feet. They feature a sheepskin lining and a tough leather sole. You can purchase a pair for $30 at shoplellow.com. They are available in infant and toddler sizes and would make a wonderful gift. Other color options are also available.

Know someone who is expecting a baby this fall or winter? This sweet little pair of elephant booties by Little Chums would make a very thoughtful and budget-friendly gift. This cute pair of footwear is crocheted for a great homemade look. Each pair comes packaged in a felt box perfect for gift-giving. You can buy a set for $19.99 at babytango.com.

While cold-weather comfort is probably the last thing on your mind as temperatures climb, now’s a great time to get great deals on high end winter gear. Right now these Swedish Moccasins from top-brand Nowali are on sale for less than half price. You can pick up a pair for next winter for just $12 at BeetlesAndButterflies.biz.

While my son liked the idea of Cookie Monster slippers, he found he didn’t like the actual wearing of them. They clunked around, with their heavy eyes, and mostly just annoyed him. I bought them one winter because I wanted to keep his feet warm but socks were slippery on our hardwood and he wanted nothing to do with these slippers. Though they’re reasonably priced at crazyforbargains.com at $11.50, they get a thumbs down!

These infant slippers from Goody Goody have to be one of the cutest pairs of baby shoes that I have ever encountered. Unique and modern, these little slippers fit shoe size 2-4. I love the bold design which includes a gorgeous red flower on the toe. The slippers are made by hand from silk, velvet, and suede. They feature an elasticized ankle to keep them on little feet. Corduroy insoles add comfort and a non-skid suede sole makes them safe. While it might be a little difficult to find outfits that can stand up to these bold shoes, they are definitely as sweet as can be. You can purchase a pair for $32 at BestDressedKids.coom. These would make a wonderful and unique gift. Other styles are available as well.

Here are some adorable booties that will definitely make your baby’s feet look good enough to snack on. These Chocolate Pistachio handmade booties by Amy Joyner are crocheted from a soft cotton blend yarn in a beautiful combination of colors. I absolutely love the pistachio green paired with the touch of chocolate brown, and finished off with the little side button. They come in two sizes (0-6 months, and 6-12 months) and are also available in other scrumptious colors like Organic Creamsicle, though the Chocolate Pistachio design is my personal favorite. You can buy a pair of these soft booties for $18 at craftsburykids.com.

These “Julius” monkey slippers by Small Paul are not only incredibly comfortable but also highly stylish for either boys or girls – pink ones are also available. Perfect for after bath time, they are made from super- fine terry toweling with a felt appliqué of Julius the monkey on the front. I just love the retro look of these slippers. They’re sure to bring a big smile to the face of any monkey- loving toddler. My son is not fond of wearing slippers of any kind, preferring to run around barefoot all day long, but I’m pretty sure even he couldn’t resist these particularly adorable slippers. If only they had them in my size! They come in children’s sizes small, large, or extra large and were priced at $19.95 but are now available at 50% off for $9.98 from sandboxcouture.com

I bought my 4 year old son these Children’s Muk Luks for Christmas, and I have been very pleased with them. They fit him well, even though I bought a size larger than he wears now to give his feet room to grow. They also keep his feet warm, when he keeps them on his feet. I was hoping that these slipper/socks would stay on his feet more easily than slippers, but I guess I have to face the fact that I have a child who just doesn’t like anything on his feet when he’s at home. At least these stay on longer than his old slippers would.
You can buy a pair of these great, warm slippers at ShoeBuy.com for $29.45. I’m thinking of buying a pair for myself as well.

It has been quite cold where I live lately, and yet my three year old insists on running around without any shoes or socks on. I hate the thought of her poor little toes on our cold wood floors. Regular slippers aren’t an option because she won’t keep those on either. I am thinking that a comfortable (and fun) pair of gripping slipper socks might actually work. I have been looking around for a cute pair, and I came upon these Bical Grippers. I think they are quite cute, and the heart theme is perfect for Valentine’s Day. I always love it when I can disguise something practical as a gift, too.
These are designed to stay on feet and to provide a gripping walking surface. I love the funky green color, and I know my daughter will love the pink and the hearts. Best of all, these are on sale for half price. I’m inclined to give them a try since I won’t be out quite so much if she won’t keep them on. You can purchase a pair for $11 at bediboo.com. A number of other styles and colors are available as well, including some that are appropriate for boys.

I have a friend whose second child, a boy, is due in December. Since her first child was a girl, she’s in need of all sorts of boy-themed clothing, and as my son is 4 1/2, I’ve been passing things on to her. I just might have to break down and buy these cute Lion Booties by Bla Bla for her, though. They would look so cute on a newborn’s feet, and as they are made of 100% hand-knit stretchable cotton, they would keep his feet warm and cozy this winter.
Although the booties come in just size 6 months, the manufacturer says they can stretch to accommodate 12 month size feet. These booties are hard to find in many online stores, but are currently available at RosenberryRooms.com for $27. They would make a great shower or Christmas gift.

My son can’t seem to keep socks, shoes, or slippers on his feet when he’s at home. As soon as he comes home from preschool, off come the shoes, off go the socks, and where they end up nobody knows. He doesn’t want to wear slippers, instead opting to let his feet “breathe.” This makes me nervous, as I don’t want him to get sick (I know, you can’t catch a cold from having bare feet, but it’s what my grandmother and mother have told me for all these years and I can’t help but worry!)
These Nowali Moccasins look like they might actually stay on my son’s feet. They look comfortable, with the sock and the soft leather-soled slipper sewn together. Made in Sweden, they are machine washable, a big plus. They come in a variety of sizes from 6 months to 10 years, and styles for boys and girls, ranging from basic colors to dragons to flowers. They sell for $24.95 at Nowali.com. For that price, I hope the pair I’m ordering today stay on my son’s feet longer than 5 minutes!

Rumored to be among the baby gifts Nicole Kidman received for her new daughter, moccasins from Nowali are as practical as they are sweet. Made from a cotton blend knit upper with a suede sole, these shoes are toasty for little feet and skid resistant to help keep new walkers safe. They are also machine washable, so you don’t need to worry about keeping them spotless.
These cute little shoes are available in pink, blue, and ivory, and and sizes from 6-18 months. The company also makes a wide range of other fun moccasins for little feet. You can purchase a pair for $28 from MilkShop.com.

Made by Swedish designer Pia Wallen, these baby slippers are a simple but modern addition to any little one’s wardrobe. They are made from 100% wool and have a rubber sole. They come in one size, 6 months, but this is estimated to fit a range from 4-9 months, depending on the child’s size.
These slippers are available in either brown or white. I personally like the brown pair, which has a Charlie Brown-esque appeal to me. They charmed the editors at ReadyMade magazine, who featured them among a collection of other hip items for kids. They definitely look like they would be cozy in cold weather.
You can purchase a pair for $39 at modernseed.com.

I’m a sucker for anything Oprah endorses from books to baby clothes. That’s what got me interested in these adorable slipper boots on garnethill.com. These comfortable booties made in Germany are perfect for little ones.
Not only are they soft and durable, they come in great designs that will have your kid asking to wear them all the time (both of my girls do). You can choose from a bunch of different animals like unicorns, elephants, dogs, dragons, sharks, bunnies and penguins to name just a few.
These boiled wool slipper boots are great for toddlers, little kids and big kids. You can pick up a pair for $38. How can Oprah be wrong!?
