The Moby Bath Spout Cover by Skip Hop is a great way to protect little heads from bumps and bruises in the tub. This cute little guy gits over the faucet, adding a layer of protection against accidents. We have a similar product that I have been very pleased with. This model, however, has a few features that mine does not. It is dishwasher safe–which is great for keeping germs and mildew and bay. It also has a hooked tail that can be used to hang it up to dry when bath time is done. You can purchase one of these innovative products for a very reasonable $11.95 at bunnyburybaby.com.

I have been coveting the Skip Hop Play Spot in Green/Brown (but the Blue/Gold is lovely as well) for some time now. However, I cannot afford to spend upwards of $100 for a 14” by 14” play mat. It’s so attractive and really would finish off our playroom (or nursery) and is listed for $79 at Amazon.com. The Play Spot is made of EVA foam, is easy to customize to fit your room (use some of the tiles or all), comes in a few attractive colors, and will be fun to create patterns with—you just switch out circles to create your own pattern.

I love this cute little bunny toy from Skip Hop, so much so that I’m kind of bummed that my kids are all too old for it. The fabric combinations are as cute as can be, while the mirror is sure to entertain. I am always surprised at how much a mirror attracts the attention of even the youngest infants. You can purchase one of these cuties for a very reasonable $8.99 at oompa.com.

This diaper bag caught my eye recently when I was browsing the baby aisle of my local Target store. I think it looks quite high-end, but it retails for just $29.99. Made for Target by innovative baby brand Skip Hop, this bag is sophisticated, yet practical. Its sleek black exterior looks more like an upscale purse than a diaper bag, while the roomy interior holds a changing pad, and six pockets. Four exterior pockets make it easy to keep keys, cell phones, and other necessities handy. I have promised myself that I am done buying diaper bags, but I have to admit that if I see this go on clearance, I will likely be bringing it home. It will double as a purse long after your diapering days are done. You can check it out at target.com.

My son is pretty active and playful when it comes to bath time – one of his favorite times of the day – so we have always made sure that the bath spout was protected ensuring no bumps before bedtime. I’m really not too sure where we got the one we are currently using but it doesn’t work too well, my main complaint being it doesn’t fit very well on the spout and it got moldy way too quickly. It is also very functional looking and none too exciting for toddler bath time.
This new Moby bath spout cover is the best looking one I’ve seen and to top it all off, it’s totally practical, too. A great looking design that will fit over most bath spouts, it has a handy “blow- hole” for the bath water to come out of and an adjustable strap that helps it fit on snugly. This cute sky blue whale has a handy tail that doubles as a hook when you want to dry it out. My favorite aspect is that it is mold and mildew resistant and dishwasher safe (those words guarantee my seal of approval). BPA, Phthalate and PVC free, it is made of soft tough rubber. You can purchase one for $12.95 from lullabylane.com

I love the Skip Hop Hare Brush and Comb Set. It’s a common problem for children to dislike having their hair brushed. A cute idea for any bathroom or nursery, it is sure to encourage all children to want to brush their hair and bring a smile to their faces, too. This clever little hare incorporates both a comb and a brush, with the wide handles becoming the hare’s ears. Cleverly hidden at the bottom is a shatterproof mirror for the kids to check out what a great job you did with their hair. The soft brush bristles and wide toothed comb make it gentle on young scalps and ideal for untangling hair without any pain. The hare also becomes a great distraction while you are grooming the child. I think the idea of having the brush and comb sit in the little hare is perfect — no more hunting high and low for brushes.
BPA, Phthalate and PVC-free, this would make a wonderful gift for any newborn, toddler or mommy to be. It’s available at Giggle.com for $20.00.

This is the only diaper bag that my husband says he is willing to be seen out in public with. Apparently, I made the mistake of buying a diaper bag that looked “too much like a diaper bag” and obviously wasn’t manly enough for the modern dad! In our house there was always a big ordeal every time my husband and son went out on their own with us having to exchange all the contents of the diaper bag into a more masculine backpack – and all you moms know how much clutter there is in our diaper bags! So, next time, I am definitely getting this one as it’s totally unisex. If it’s good enough for actor Liev Schreiber, then it’s good enough for my husband!
This urban style bag by Skip Hop is not only nice to look at but incorporates all those extras you look for in a bag, including its unique stroller straps. It is made from poly-canvas so you can guarantee it is easy to clean and will last you a long time. It has 11 roomy pockets and a zippered compartment to keep any wallets or important items clean and dry. One of my favorite things about this bag is that it has magnetic closures, which is essential when in a rush and you don’t have time to be struggling with zips or fasteners. It also has very comfy shoulder straps, perfect for when it gets a little on the heavy side. This one normally retails for $63.99 but is on sale at BabiesRUs.com for $32.98.

Handbags, diaper bags, backpacks, or totes, all have a way of becoming the Bermuda Triangle for all of ours and our kids’ stuff. I raised three children and we were always on the road going somewhere, so diaper bags were just a part of our gear. I remember having to dig around these multi-layered, multi-pocketed diaper bags for just one thing.
This Diaper Bag Details by Skip Hop is a very good idea. You still need a diaper bag for the bigger items (blankets, extra clothes, etc.) but you could use this smaller bag for just the important essentials that you may need to access right away. It includes an insulated Bottle Bag, a laminated zip case and detachable strap, a pacifier holder, see-through wipes case, and diaper holder. All that in an 11.75×10x4.5″h bag. View this item at SkipHop.com, where it is priced at $45 and comes in Ocean Stripe, Flora, and Black Geo.

This Palette Plate Feeding Set by Skip Hop is age-appropriate for both babies and toddlers. I didn’t realize at first that it serves three purposes: food preparation, storage and serving of finger foods. It has three drop-in bowls that are microwave safe and fit right into the Palette Plate when you’re ready to serve. It also comes with translucent covers for storage and matching utensils.
If you think about it, this is also an opportunity to introduce your children to primary colors. And besides, it just looks like fun. When your kids are having fun, they might eat more of their food than they play with. Visit SkipHop.com to view this item, priced at $28.

Skip Hop always delivers hip yet practical products for infants and toddlers that won’t destroy your budget. Their Table Fun Feeding Sets are no exception. Available in several fun designs, these sets include a plate, a bowl, a sippy cup, and a spoon and fork. I particularly like this Sea Critters set, which is appropriate for either a boy or a girl. The sea critters that decorate each piece are as cute as can be. Designed by artist Eleanor Grosch, they are sure to delight your little diner. Everything is made from high-quality melamine, and is dishwasher safe for easy clean-up.
You can pick up one of these fun sets for $24 at MamasAndMunchkins.com. It would also make a fun gift for an older infant or toddler.

My cupboards are never organized. It’s the bane of my kitchen, but Skip Hop is a company with moms like me in mind. The Chow Baby Food Organizer is genius. I use baby food jars not only for food but for travel food containers as well. Imagine having them at hand in my pantry — I’d be able to get things moving in the kitchen much quicker, that’s for sure! Available in marine, white, and poppy, it’s a sure match to your or any parent on your holiday list’s kitchen. You don’t have to worry about fit, because its size is adjustable to your space, with two shelves or three, so it suits just about cabinet space.
At $24, it’s a sensible buy at babyearth.com.

I think the Toolbox Diaper Caddy would make a great shower gift or even a great Christmas present for a new parent. It would come in very handy; I’d take it from upstairs to downstairs, from room to room, and from the house to the car. It’s attractive and handy with several pockets and drawers that are easy to access from all sides. When baby outgrows diapers, why not use it to store items in the bathroom or in his room for coloring books and crayons? You could even pay it forward to a friend with a new baby or local church day care. It’s sure to please.

I admired this toy on a recent trip to Babies R Us, and am now kicking myself that I didn’t buy it. Sure, we are swimming in more toys than our baby is ever likely to play with, but it is just so cute! Recommended for infants from birth to 18 months, it is made from super-soft velour in a variety of attractive prints. It has a pleasant sounding chime inside which is sure to produce squeals of delight. Side loops allow even the youngest children to grasp the ball, while older children will enjoy playing catch or rolling it across the floor.
You can purchase one on sale for $12.74 at ToysRUs.com.

Skip Hop always has cute and innovative products, and their prices won’t destroy your budget. I love the look of their new Hare Baby Comb & Brush Set. This sweet little set was recently featured in American Baby Magazine, and includes a comb, brush, and mirror, all tucked away inside a cute bunny head.
Any toddler will love this set. Actually, I think my nine year old would love this set. It definitely makes grooming a bit more fun. The set will be available in October and will retail for approximately $20 at SkipHop.com.

I liked having a plastic cover for my son’s soothers (while he still used them) and having something a little more durable, brightly colored for easy locating, and easily attachable to diaper bags and buggies like this Pacifier Pocket by Skip Hop would please me as well.
I look at it and envision no more digging through purses and diaper bags trying to locate a soother. I have a Skip Hop diaper bag and I like the simple elegance of their products. Nothing over the top or frou-frou; they’re just fully equipped for mom and baby’s needs. Unfortunately, the product description mentions nothing of colors other than red.
The pocket’s completely affordable at $9.50 from littlebundles.ca.
