As I was browsing the Internet, this rocker caught my eye. I like the shape and color, which would be attractive to children and looks to be ergonomically correct for their posture and comfort. As I read further, I saw that the Hiya Rocker is a functional piece of furniture as well. It has a book bin in the back to store books, toys, coloring books, crayons, art gear, remote controls for games, anything you can think of that your child might need while sitting in the Hiya Rocker. It also has an extra-wide seat in case two children want to sit together to read or color. This would look great in a child’s bedroom or even in a family room.

I’m not too sure about this piece of furniture. The Olga Rocker, designed by Sirch of Germany, is a very unique, unusual, modern slant on a child’s rocker. It is made of a continuous piece of bent birch wood and has a seat made of red woven fabric. It is supposed to be more comfortable than other rockers because of the open space in front. The rocker weighs 10 lbs.

I’d have to try this one out, or have my child test it, before buying it. It is a stunning piece of sculpture and one that would definitely be a conversation starter when guests come to visit. You can view it yourself at ModernTots.com, where it sells for $300.

The Time to Read Rocking Chair in Pastels actually has a working clock to keep track of your little girl’s reading time The rocker also has a sturdy attached wooden rack to keep books up and off of the floor.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this little rocking chair was, what a perfect place for story time. Tori Spelling recently showed off her young daughter’s nursery, which includes this fun Luca Glider from Monte.  The glider is covered in stain-resistant suede microfiber, which is completely water repellent–a must in most nurseries.  The chair comes in a number of great colors, but I love this fun orange fabric.

Though I find the entire Secret Garden collection to be a tad overdone, I do like pieces of it and would certainly lose some and keep some together. For example, without the valance and the border, the set becomes far less overwhelming to the eye. I’d likely skip the lamp and probably the rug (not shown) as well but take the designer paint color suggestions, as featured on the site, into consideration.

My favorite of the entire collection is the little rocking chair; it looks cute and comfy. However, if you’re more in the market for a 6-piece bedding set, this one runs for $188.53 for quilt, bumper pad, dust ruffle, crib sheet, diaper stacker, and valance. That’s not a bad value, considering some of the piddly sets of 4 you can buy for much more.
