The North Face is one of the most trusted brands around for outdoor wear. It is also one of the hippest these days. Girls will no doubt enjoy these practical, but stylish pink gloves. Side clips allow you to attach them to each other or to a coat. Rubber grips accommodate active kids. You could probably even get away with giving these as a gift! You can purchase a pair for $22 at shop.nordstrom.com.

Kate Mack is probably best known for bathing suits, but they make some great coats as well. My youngest daughter is sporting an exceptionally-cute Kate Mack coat this winter, and I’ve been looking at their line for older girls as well. I love the fun shape of this pink Razzle Dazzle jacket, and the faux fur collar adds a little extra fun. It is a perfect topper for casual winter looks. Right now, you can purchase this warm winter jacket on sale for $64.80 (down from $108). It is available in sizes from 4-6X. You can check it out at littleposhprincess.com.

Got an amphibian lover in the family? I know we do and it’s me. I think this Frog Hat with Plain Red or Pink Lips is nothing short of cute. In bright greens and with fun goggle eyes, it’s got earflaps to keep little ears warm and is available with a frog prince crown. Match it to a green or brown coat and watch passersby smile. Sold by Etsy’s nancy2349, it’s fun for all ages at $20.

Here is another great coat from Corky & Company. If your little one is a pink princess, this may be the way to go. I love the sweet paisley print, which is feminine without being cheesy. The embellished collar is also a nice touch. This will look great over dresses, but you can easily pair it with casual wear as well. It is available in sizes from 2T up to 6x and retails for $94-$104, depending on size. You can purchase one at forgetmenotkids.com. If you can keep it clean, this one will be great to pass down to a friend or little sister.

There’s no shortage of gorgeous infant carriers to choose from these days. This Ophelia Pink & Olive Reversible Baby Sling by Polkadot Papoose recently caught my eye. I love the print–the colors are perfect together. This handcrafted reversible sling can be used for three different carries and features a binkie pocket for convenience. You can purchase one for $64 at jujubeaneboutique.com. It would make a generous new baby gift.

Sugar Sweet Baby offers a number of attractive, high-quality, handmade products for infants. I have one of their wraps, which we use quite a lot. I just noticed that they also offer a blanket in this same attractive Amy Butler fabric. This eye-catching print is backed with a soft and cuddly fabric for extra comfort at home or on the go. You can purchase one on sale for $30 at sugarsweetbaby.com. It is highly giftable as well.

Got a bit of a punk side? No problem with PunkBabyClothes.net; they’ve got onesies, dresses, one piece sleepers, pants, hats, and it’s all got punk logos, skulls, fun sayings—you name it, you’ll find it. The coolest piece? The Pink and White Skull Infant Pom Pom Hat. By far, something I’d love to put on any little girl baby. How could she not get attention wearing this? It’s yours for $17 but just try to resist all the other fantastic gear on this site. It’s like that chip commercial–you can’t have just one! …And you surely can’t pick just one thing.

Like a sale but still want something special? The Alimrose Pink Floppy Monkey Doll caught my eye immediately when I clicked on the sale items at bellydancebaby.com. Plush and pretty and just original enough to stand out, this happy monkey is on sale for $30 ($14 savings.) I like it for a new baby gift to go along with a sweet soft blanket or a basket of toys and sleepers. I can’t see this floppy monkey being a flop with any child.
Still holding out for something a little less costly? Check out Tavitts.com for Ty 10” Baby Dangles Pink Monkey. Super cute, pink, and fluffy, just like the Alimrose version, but at a fraction of the cost for $6.95. At our house, we think Ty stuffies are soft and huggable and just the right price.

I was breaking out all of our Keen water shoes for our first swim outing of the season, and it reminded me that I haven’t checked out the company’s offerings in a while. I was delighted by this new Coronado shoe for infants. This is slightly unexpected for a KEEN shoe, but it works perfectly. I love the simple canvas look of the upper, and the appliques turtle gives it just the right finishing touch. It it also available in orange.
This shoe would look great with all kinds of casual looks this summer. It is available in several size ranges for both infants and kids. There is a size mislabeling issue with certain sizes, however, so be sure you read up before you buy. You can purchase a pair for $35 at tinysoles.com. If I thought they could stand up to the blackening force of the dreaded day care tire mulch, these would be ours in a heartbeat!

This outfit was featured in Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine. I like it because it’s so feminine. The Pink Pillowcase Pant and Top Set by Right Bank is made from pillowcases, with ribbon ties on the shoulders and embroidered detail along the hem of both the top and pants. The outfit is treated to prevent fraying. Available in sizes 0-6 months through 6X, you can purchase this romantic, feminine set for your little girl at SaigeNicoles.com for $99 (regularly $110).

Last summer, when magazines started reporting that Angeline Jolie and Brad Pitt had spent thousands of dollars on chandeliers for their twins’ nursery, moms everywhere took notice. I’d like to think I’m pretty up on baby gear, but I never would have thought about a chandelier for my then baby-to-be’s room. In all honesty, I still don’t think I would, but I have started to take more notice of them when browsing online. I will say that this Pink and Green Leaf and Flower Chandelier caught my eye. It isn’ t over-the-top in the way that many similar products are. I really like the color scheme as well. I think it would look great in an understated floral or garden themed nursery. The chandelier retails for a rather steep $298. You can purchase one at thefrogandtheprincess.com.
