We have a nature themed playroom, with prints of trees, a lovely bluish-green paint color, and green toile curtains in it, so I thought the BlueBird Cage Mini Décor Pillow would fit in perfectly. Our infant has reached an awkward stage where she’s too big and too mobile for the cradle, but not yet ready to sleep in her own room. After finally getting my middle daughter out of our bed, I’m hopping not to start that habit this time around. Although I’m not sure how long we will be able to contain her in it, we decided our best bet is a co-sleeper. Because of space concerns, the Mini was our best bet. We’ve been using it for about a week now, and I’m quite pleased. You can use it either as a freestanding bassinet or a co-sleeper. Getting it attached securely to the bed is a bit complicated, so I wouldn’t recommend trying to switch between the two modes on a regular basis. Overall, I would recommend this product to new parents, although I miss being able to use our movement monitor because it lacks the necessary wood bottom. You can purchase the Mini for $154 at armsreach.com.

Are you going to add a baby to the family soon or do you tote your baby all over town in a Moby wrap? If you wear your baby a lot and have a toddler who would like to carry his/her dolls in the same fashion (but you don’t sew), there’s always the Moby Mini Baby Carrier. It come in vivid Red, simple Natural, lovely Lilac, or deep Indigo with ample space for a favorite dolly. We use a Mei Tei at our house and I think it would be adorable to have a toddler carrying a doll or stuffed animal in a mini carrier right behind us. It’s important for little ones to learn how to nurture and to feel like they are participating in the daily events of the household, especially with a new baby in the picture. However, our son doesn’t show an interest in our Mei Tei and prefers traveling with his Kitty in a small backpack or leaving it home to wait for him. Otherwise, I’d jump on this Moby Mini Baby Carrier, on sale for $12.95 at HipMountainMama.com.

When I was little, my sister had a pillow for the tooth fairy. I was never quite so fortunate, and had to make do with sticking my lost teeth directly under my pillow. Maybe that is why I always take a second look at tooth pillows when I encounter them. I’m not sure I have ever seen one quite so unique and detailed as these that are available from MyRetroBaby.com. Certainly my sister’s was not nearly this impressive!
Each pillow features a tooth fairy, who is printed directly on the fabric using archival ink. A sparkly fabric forms the tooth pocket. Clear glass beads accent the pocket and each pillow features a grosgrain ribbon as trim. A medallion hangs from the ribbon and can be customized with a name or a word such as “believe” or “dream.” The pillow is stuffed with non-allergenic fiberfill and features a white satin handle that allows your daughter to proudly display the pillow when not in use.
Any little girl will love having this pillow, which enhances the magic of losing those first teeth. You can purchase one for $56 at MyRetroBaby.com. A larger version is also available.

Glass bottles are back! If you’ve ever worried about chemicals leaching into plastic baby bottles then you’re probably already using glass. But do you also worry about breakage? These Mini WeeGo Glass Bottles have a sleeve that fits over the glass bottle and protects the bottle from breaking. Of course, the sleeeve is free of plastics and is 100% non-toxic. Both the bottle and the sleeve can be boiled or put in the dishwasher together. The sleeve provides a good gripping surface during feeding and another plus is that the sleeve is a great tactile experience for your baby. So we get safety and education all in one.
I like the way the WeeGos look. They’re cute and mini and bright. Visit babyearth.com to purchase this item, priced at $11.99 which includes a 4 oz bottle and 1 State 1 silicone nipple. It is available in a variety of bright, modern colors.

With a full line of maternity swimwear, Maternity4Less is a well-stocked site. There are all sorts of shapes, colors, and styles available in maternity swimsuits, but I like the Two Piece Strapless Mini. It’s pretty, fun, and flirty. I’m not a big swimmer, but if I were, it would be a winner in my book.
Made of Nylon and Spandex, it comes in four color choices and sizes Small up to X-Large. There is even a detachable strap for swimming. Buy yours for $67.99 at Maternity4Less.com.
