Etsy seller ONElittleBELT sells leather belts for infants and toddlers, something you don’t see every day. Most belts for babies and toddlers are made of canvas or cheap fabric. These belts are made of full-grain brown leather and come complete with a nickel-plated buckle. Belts are available in the etsy shop for ages 6-12 months up to 12 to 36 months. This one sells for $15.

Here is an unusual baby gift. Made by Mally Bibs, this upscale pink bib is made from leather and features a leather applique of a woman/girl. It is reversible, with the applique on one side and a handy food-catching pocket on the other. It closes with a magnet and wipes clean. This would defintiely be a conversation starter at any baby shower. You can purchase one for $36 at RonRobinson.com. A boy version is also available, as are several animal themes.

I think most parents, eager to get their children off to the right start, begin purchasing books for their babies even before they arrive. Pretty soon, you find yourself swimming in a sea of board and picture books. That’s why I love the idea of these upscale bookends. The dinosaurs caught my eye, but many other animals, even some ultra-modern robots, are also available. Made out of leather by artist Sandy Vohr, these are truly a unique way to showcase your child’s growing library. Such quality work doesn’t come cheap, however. Plan to pay $170 when you purchase these at theredballoon.com.

I don’t buy leather for myself, but that doesn’t stop me from ogling a gorgeous leather bag like this one. I love the gorgeous “mimosa yellow” color, and the design is very chic (zebra print lining, anyone?). while this bag features all of the necessities of a good diaper bag (spacious and plentiful pockets, stroller straps, a changing pad, wipes case, and bottle holder), it isn’t immediately identifiable as one. So, this is one “baby” purchase that you will be able to use for many years to come, even if you only have one child. You can purchase one for $250, shipping included, at artebebe.com. Black and red versions are also available.

Recently I found this unique, upscale baby carrier in suede and leather by Ramalama. Based in Australia, Ramalama carries baby carriers, luxury diaper bags, and eco-friendly maternity and baby clothing. Calling itself a company that produces baby items that possess “functional luxury,” the Ramalama baby carrier is designed to be easy to use and fun and fashionable to wear. The carrier is designed for babies 5 months and older. While I wasn’t able to find a US retailer that carries Ramalama online, I did find one in the UK: monstersandmunchkins.com currently has the Ramalama suede/leather baby carrier available for 129 GBP (approx $196 USD). They do offer world wide shipping as well.

Here is a cute footwear option that won’t break the bank. These crib shoes offer the same features as name brands like Robeez at about half the price. Made from leather with suede soles, these shoes feature an elasticized back to keep them on wiggly feet.
They offer flexibility and breathability so growing feet get off to the right start. We have one pair of these that I bought on clearance at my local Target for less than $4! Although I find then to be slightly less soft than our Robeez, they look great and fit like the more expensive brand.
The normal retail price is $12.99. You can purchase them at Target stores or online at target.com. A number of colors and designs are available. I thought this giraffe pair was quite cute.

If you want your little one to stand out as just a little bit hipper and edgier than other babies, check out these trendy dragon crib shoes from Me in Mind. Made from soft suede, these grey leather shoes feature black trim and dragons. The elasticized back helps keep them on busy little feet. They are available in infant sizes and can be purchased for $24 at LaLaLing.com.

If you are a purse addict who wants a diaper bag that won’t be immediately recognizable as such, you might want to check out these luxury bags from Not Rational. Be warned, however, that you must also be willing to foot the hefty $700 price tag. What justifies the price? Each bag is made from high-quality leather and features four outside pockets as well as inside pouches to keep your child’s necessities handy and well-organized. A matching leather changing pad is also included for diaper changes on the go, as are a pacifier and a bottle. The bag is accented with antique brass hardware, and comes complete with a removable strap, and adjustable handles. A zipper at the top keeps everything secure.
Overall, the Kelly Charcoal Lux Leather Diaper Bag is a gorgeous bag, but definitely a status-symbol item. If you are willing to pay the steep price, you can purchase one at RonRobinson.com.

Here is a great pair of toddler footwear that puts a modern twist on the classic Victorian boot. Made by Siaomimi, the brainchild of designer Hilda Yim, these wine colored boots will make a pleasing addition to any little one’s wardrobe. They will look great with just about any outfit and are suitable for wear by either a boy or a girl. You could add to their classic style by pairing them with a sailor suit or bring them up to date by matching them with jeans and a sweater. They feature faux buttons to complete the Victorian look, but the actual closure is concealed Velcro, which makes them easy to get on and off.
You can purchase a pair of these great boots for $58 at artebebe.com.

My son usually does not like having to wear his formal, dress-up shoes, complaining that they are too tight and not at all comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I think, however, that these Windsor shoes made by Stride Rite might change his mind about wearing dressy shoes. Available in black leather and brown leather, these smart-looking Oxfords have a lightweight, flexible outer sole and a padded collar and throat for the ultimate in comfort. Some of the customer reviews on the website where the shoe is sold, ShoeBuy.com, say that boys who only like wearing sneakers (like my son) love wearing these shoes. Plus, it’s made by Stride Rite, a company whose shoes have always fit my son’s feet quite well.
These shoes are available in Toddler sizes starting at 10.5 up to Young Boy size 7, for $48.95, at ShoeBuy.com. I think they would complete a holiday outfit as well.

The cold weather is almost upon us and it just won’t do for our toddlers to run around barefoot for too much longer. These Leather and Knit Uppers by Shay look like the next best thing to bare. While these pretty slip ons are keeping your child’s feet warm and cozy, their feet won’t get too hot and clammy with the shoe’s moisture wicking textilie lining. Another neat feature, specific for infant and toddler wear is the non-marking rubber outsole.
Visit KeenFootwear.com where you can purchase this item for $50.00. Available in Crocus (pictured), Peacoat, and Beet Red; in toddler sizes 8-13.

If you want to add a bit of an edge to your infant’s wardrobe, check out these hip little crib shoes from Yo My Booties. Made from 100% leather, these booties are sure to get your baby noticed. Available in a number of metallic hues for both boys and girls, they are designed with an elasticized opening that makes them easy to get on, but keeps them in place.
Celebrity fans of the brand (which makes many other fun designs of booties) include Jerry Seinfeld, Jennifer Garner, and Jenna Elfman. They are available in 0-6, 6-12, and 12-18 month sizes. You can purchase a pair for $36 at milkshop.com.

I have to admit it. shopgenes.com has the coolest in baby accessories. I have run across a lot of impressive sites but this stuff really stands out.
The Victoria Staten Playard will not be outdone when it comes to chic. Done in maple and leather (yes, you heard me right—leather) with a (washable) fabric body for comfort, it offers style and practicality. There’s even a topper for convenient diaper changes.
Imagine pulling this number out at a friend’s place for an overnight stay or naptime; it’ll certainly draw in an admiring crowd. In size, it measures 28 inches H by 37 inches W by 33 inches D, great for baby’s travelling needs.
At $650.00, it’s a posh piece indeed.

When I hear the phrase “bronze booties,” I immediately picture a metal keepsake. So, I was a little surprised to discover that these “bronze booties” are actually made to be worn. Made out of bronze-colored leather, these shoes look like a lot of fun.
They have the shape of old-fashioned infant shoes, but the color and sparkle definitely give them a modern edge. They are embroidered with stars and hearts on the tops and soles for an added touch of style. The bronze booties close with an adjustable Velcro strap, and are designed to stay on little feet.
They come in three different sizes: 0-6 months, 6-12 months, and 12-18 months. The only problem may be finding clothes to match them!
You can buy a pair of the Estella Bronze Booties for $30 at estella-nyc.com.

I have to say this dragonfly bib is great. One of the best features is it’s adjustable. There are magnetic clips in the back that can fit your 6 month-old to your 3 year-old. You can just stick the bib to the fridge after feeding time and you’ll always know where it is.
The bib is made out of 100% baby safe leather and is extremely easy to clean. Plus it’s reversible with a pocket on the other side. The bibs come in 18 different designs from cupcakes to monkeys. Retails for $31.00 at chloeinstyle.com.
