As I was chatting with a friend about Kushies cloth diapers, I perused Kushies.com, looking for something I wanted to point out to her. I found the liners I was looking for and also found the new line of diapers. Kushies now has some very modern patterns that I adore. Splashes of color adorn the Ultra Lite Washable Diapers, giving them almost a graffiti art feel. In greens and blues for boys and pinks and oranges for girls, they’re only $13.99 for singles and $68.99 (Toddler sizes 22-45 pounds) for a 5-pack. There are even matching on-the-go wet bags. I am definitely going to look into buying some for my youngest son.

While I was picking up some BumGenius diapers (in a fun new color, might I add) today, I spotted the sweetest line of Kushies baby clothing in the store, the Safari Layette collection. Super soft organic and done in a cream and brown stripe, the pants were as cute as can be and the matching onesie with the tiny bird appliqué caught my eye immediately after. I found the onesie at AlongComesABaby.com for $13.99 for girls or boys in pink, blue, or green with a brown stripe in size 1 month and up.

We are currently using this adorable mobile from Kushies’ Zolo line. The wild and crazy animals are cute as can be. I wasn’t sure how this would look in our daughter’s nursery (which has a rather modern pink and tan floral theme), but it works. It also fit nicely on our cradle early on. I like the simple ease of this mobile–nothing to wind, no music, no batteries to replace. The mirror on the underside is another big selling point–babies love it. The only problem I have is that the wooden wheel that attaches it to the crib came apart a bit. It is still safe and secure, but a little imperfect. You can purchase one for $59.99 at kushiesonline.com.

We’ve written several posts about this upscale play mat from the Kushies Zolo line. It truly is luxurious. Unfortunately, ours proved a little too attractive to older children. Everyone who came over wanted to play with it. The end result was that one of the plastic hinges on the bar that holds the legs together broke, rendering the play arch useless. We salvaged the toys from the arch, and they are still well-loved by our baby, as is the mat itself, but I’m a little disappointed that it broke so easily. While the hinged arch makes set up a breeze, for this reason, I think I’d rather have the more time consuming, but unbreakable tent-pole-style arches that most play mats use. You can purchase one of these for $119.95 at glammatoys.com. Just be careful with it!

These Zebra 2-piece Hooded Snowsuits by Kushies are so cute they make you wish for snow just so you can dress your children in these and see how adorable they look! This set of two snowsuits would work wonderfully as a gift for a mom with twins, or just if you want to give her an option to change snowsuits from day to day for one child. They are quilted and padded for extra warmth and comfort, with faux sherpa lining in the jacket and the bib-style snowpants. The ankles and calves have nylon lining. Each snowsuit comes with matching mittens and with a plush zebra.
The set comes in a navy and fuchshia combination only (shown above). It is available in size 12 months only, on sale for $154.95 (regularly $164.95) at SpiffyBaby.com.

Kushies carries a wonderful collection of Classic Toddler Diapers. It is their original fitted cloth diaper, and a great performer. It offers the flexibility of use with or without a diaper wrap. The variety of colors, patterns, and prints provides many choices for your special little one. These sets come in 5 packs and would make a smart and unexpected baby shower gift.
They start at infant sizes 10-22lbs up to toddler 22-34 lbs. They’re made from 8 layers of 100% cotton flannel plus an inner waterproof barrier. The adjustable hook and loop closure system will let you give your little a snug-to-fit!

Boy, does this bring back memories of having my children at the beach when they were still in diapers. Remember how you had to decide if you should let them wear a regular underpant under their suit or wear a diaper? The diaper was sure to get soggy and full of sand, and a regular underpant would also be messy, but you wouldn’t be able to throw it in the trash bin.
This Swimsuit Diaper by Kushies is a great alternative. It has a quick drying nylon outer shell with a 100% cotton-terry inner lining chosen for softness, durability, and retention ability. The diaper is easy to get on and off, the wrap style design makes it easier to change your little one while the adjustable waist with added ties provides a secure fit every time. They are cloth diapers (environmentally friendly) but just remember to bring a plastic bag.
Kushies Swimsuit Diapers are available in an assortment colors and prints and in sizes s, m, l, xl for just $12.00 at KushiesOnline.com.

Remember how much fun you used to have playing with anything that was magnetic? It’s an involuntary attraction! The set, made by Kushies Zolo Baby, is neatly packed in its own durable carrying case. You can view this item at Zolo.com where it is priced at $46. This would make a fun surprise tucked inside baby’s shower gift

This tote/duffel bag by Kushies could be used in a variety of ways. “My Bag” can be used as a diaper bag, daycare tote, or overnight case. It comes in styles perfect for young boys and girls. (I know a few adults who wouldn’t mind carrying such an adorable, practical bag as well!)
My Bag features many inserts that are useful, including an insulated snack box, insulated medicine box, clean clothes bag, dirty clothes bag, soiled clothes bag with laundry insert, spare shoes bag, a pillow, a blanket, and a hook to hang the bag. All of this functionality justifies the price tag of $79.99. You can view the colors available and more about the bag at Kushies.com.

The Quilted Chocolate Jacket by Kushies is soft and lightweight so your child can keep warm and not become overheated. It’s a jacket that you child can have fun in and move around in comfortably. The jacket features a snap front, two patch pockets, corduroy collar and trim.
The shell is made from 70% Cotton/30% Nylon; the filling is 100% Polyester and the lining is 100% Cotton. It’s machine washable and I would hang dry or lay flat. It comes in Brown (pictured) in sizes 3 mos. and 12 mos. Visit the web site at MyChildClothing.com. The listed price for this comfy jacket is just $32.25 (sale).

The other day when I bought a fitted change table sheet, I received a little booklet with it that depicted many of Kushies items within. Some of their clothes are to die for. There are so many colors and choices and patterns available, it’s hard not to want them all.
In 100% Cotton, this Kushies Bright Baby Romper it’s a comfy choice. With four cute colors (yellow, pink, purple, and green) and matching accessories to go along with them, it’s simple to see why the Bright Baby Romper is not exempted from my list of desired baby buys. Cool as a cucumber and cute as a button, this romper is sure to please, especially at a discounted price of $11.25 (reg. $15.00) at My Child Clothing.

Creating is just a part of the human makeup. Children demonstrate that gift each time they take their favorite toy apart and back together again in new and creative ways. Toys that give children the opportunity to explore their creativity and to use their imaginations are a plus for me. I like beanbags because they’re virtually unbreakable, they’re “squishy,” and you can throw them!
I think I might spend a little money for these Beanstax Stacking Beanbags by Kushies because they’re made with such brightly colored, fun materials and in such interesting shapes. There’s enough color and texture in these beanbags to stir up your child’s creative juices for hours.
Although these beanbags are sold in sets of 12 for $40.00 at UncommonGoods, they are being discontinued, so if you want one, act now!
