Now is the time to stock up on warm winter clothes for the remainder of this year or for next. There are tons of great deals to be had on clothing that can still be worn for quite a few more months, depending on where you live. I am a huge fan of fleece lined jeans for my little ones in the winter. We have quite a few pairs from both Gap and Old Navy, and they get a lot of use. Let’s face it. Mamas can’t always be wrestling toddlers and infants into buggies,baby carriers and car seats while wearing ball gowns and designer frocks. They’ve got to have ease of mobility and comfort. They can’t worry about getting a crisp new white blouse smudged by little fingers. However, there’s no reason we can’t have both sensible and fashionable, is there?

Carpenter’s pants on boys are so cute, and functional, as boys get bigger and want to bring home everything they’ve found that day in their travels. Both of my girls have worn a lot of overalls in their infant days.  In fact, I’m always sad when it is time to potty train and overalls no longer work.  The only problem I have with overalls  is that denim isn’t particularly warm or comfortable.  I therefore love Gap’s fleece lined jeans for my girls, and am very excited to see that the company’s new winter line includes a pair of fleece lined overalls as well.  This way, you can dress your child in style without feeling guilty about it!

I like that they are just the right length, neither showing too much or covering too much leg and the back pockets are flattering to the rear end.
