Pediped and celebrities are getting together to make children’s wishes come true. From October 25 to November 1, Charity Buzz will hold an online auction of Pediped shoes autographed by the stars (including Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Faith Hill, Shaquille O’Neal, and many other celebrities from film, TV, music, and the sports world). During this event, called Stars for A Wish, bidding will start at $250 per signed pair of shoes. This fundraiser has a minimum goal of $25,000, which will help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. One-hundred percent of the funds raised through the auction will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Founded by a mom and dad team, Itzy Ritzy offers a number of products made from high-quality fabrics. The print choices are stunning. It is no wonder that the company has won the respect of celebrity parents such as Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, and Halle Berry.
Check out the company’s extensive collection of burp cloths, nursing covers, and other practical products made from eco-friendly bamboo. If you haven’t yet had a chance to feel the softness of bamboo fabrics, you will be delightfully surprised. I particularly like this burp cloth which is made from bamboo and Creamsicle Swirl fabric. The orange print is modern, fun, and appropriate for babies of either sex.
You can purchase the eco-friendly burp cloth for $20. If you love the print, it is also available as an infant or toddler car seat cover ($119.99), a shopping cart cover ($68), or a nursing cover ($49.50). You can buy them at the company’s website: itzyritzy.com. These products would make very attractive gifts as well.

With humorous sayings spelled out in rhinestones, Tuni and G’s onesies have become quite popular among celebrity parents. Halle Berry, Felicity Huffman, Nicole Ritchie, and Jennifer Lopez are just a few of the stars who are fans of the company’s clothing line, which also includes maternity styles. Rhinestones aren’t really my thing, but I do see the fun and humor in these shirts.
Each onesie is made of cotton in the US. They are available in a number of colors and sizes. The “My Grandma Rocks” style shown here features black rhinestone letters and a matted silver studded star. Your little one will definitely get some attention in this one. You can buy one for $32 at tuniandg.com. Matching pants are also available.

These maternity jeans are a celebrity favorite. Halle Berry, Naomi Watts, and Melissa Joan Hart are just a few of the high-profile mommies who have been wearing them lately. Made by the high-end jean company J Brand, these jeans are definitely hip. They are designed to look less like maternity pants and more like traditional (and flattering) jeans. The forgiving design also makes them ideal as transitional pants after baby’s birth. The only downside to these jeans is their price. At $210, they are definitely a splurge, especially, if like me, you are most likely pregnant for the last time. You can buy a pair at jbrandjeans.com.

After reading that Halle Berry shopped at NoMi Boutique to decorate her baby’s nursery, I had a look at their site. Though I didn’t see a lot to covet initially, I did eventually spot the graphic print Scribbles 4 piece bedding set by Glenna Jean. The quilt and bumper have the added touch of patches of chenille and a subtle striped cording. Because it is not infantile, Scribbles can be used past infancy, especially for toddler beds made to fit crib mattresses. The quilt, I’m certain, could certainly grow with a child. I like the suggested fabric canvasses featured in the collection’s sample picture. I’d add a round rug in blues and beiges and change the curtain to a solid blue, so as not to overwhelm the room with pattern. The set, perfect for a baby boy’s nursery but easily adaptable for a girl as well, is $395. For those who fall in love with the pattern, matching diaper bag and pillow are offered for $40 extra. Though I’m not convinced www.nomiboutique.com is the shopping haven for me, I do appreciate its vast offerings and the Glenna Jean bedding set.

This adorable little coat from Bunnies by the Bay is one of the must have baby items right now. Made of soft velour, it features a hood in the shape of a cute frog’s head. It includes a lot of extra finishing touches such as a front pocket that contains a plush rattle. The inside of the coat is lined with extra-soft cotton. It is machine washable and designed to fit infants between 3 and 12 months of age. Halle Berry recently purchased one of these for her new baby, and it is easy to see why. You can buy one for $52 at bunniesbythebay.com. They also carry matching items such as a bib, onesie, and knit pants.
