Green Toys Indoor Gardening Kit

Green Toys Indoor Gardening Kit

Though I think the Green Toys Indoor Gardening Kit is a wonderful idea, great for the environment and for learning, I doubt that it really costs $29.99 to get 3 pots, a trowel, some soil, and some seeds. (The plastics are made of 100% BPA free and recycled materials, which I suppose could cost a bit more.) I also doubt that parents of children under 5 should worry about giving this set to their little ones. I’m sure my son, aged 2.5, could handle himself quite fine with it.

However, the set is attractively neutral, which is nice if you are giving it as a gift and aren’t sure of the décor of the child’s home. I think planting the seeds and waiting to see what grows could be fun and educational for kids and am intrigued by the idea. Although it is currently out of stock, if you are interested check  babybazaar.com.

Grow-a-Tree For Baby Gift Basket by One Spoiled Baby

Grow-a-Tree For Baby Gift Basket

The Grow-a-Tree For Baby Gift Basket by One Spoiled Baby, is a great idea! Along with a Ginko Biloba Tree Growing Kit, the gift basket includes the book, “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein. This special edition gift basket also includes: Baby’s First Bear, Keepsake Baby Rattle, and Travel Size Plush Baby’s Blanket.

This is a keepsake that will be a constant reminder of the precious gift of life! I wish I’d had the opportunity to plant a tree for my children. We might all be sitting under its branches at this very moment.

You can purchase the Grow-a-Tree For Baby Gift Basket for $85.00 at Onespoiledbaby.com.
