Where the Wild Things Are Tee by Junk Food Clothing

Encourage your child’s love of literature as well as his or her fashion sense with this cute little shirt from Junk Food Clothing.  The front of the shirt features an image from the picture book Where the Wild Things Are.  The Maurice Sendak book was a childhood favorite of mine, and I have enjoyed sharing it with my daughters.

Made from 100% cotton, it is created with the layered look that is very popular for boys clothing right now.  It would also look great on any trendy little girl. The shirt is available in 2T, 3T, and 4T sizes but several are backordered.  I’m not surprised considering how cute and practical this shirt is.  You can purchase one for $26 at Kitsel.com.

Baby Gap Girly Fleece-Lined Overalls

Both of my girls have worn a lot of overalls in their infant days.  In fact, I’m always sad when it is time to potty train and overalls no longer work.  The only problem I have with overalls  is that denim isn’t particularly warm or comfortable.  I therefore love Gap’s fleece lined jeans for my girls, and am very excited to see that the company’s new winter line includes a pair of fleece lined overalls as well.  This way, you can dress your child in style without feeling guilty about it!

These cute little Baby Gap Girly Fleece-Lined Overalls have some truly adorable embroidered detail–from a heart at the breast to colored stitching around the front pockets.  The snap down the legs for easy diaper changes, and are lined with super-soft pink fleece.  These would look great with just about any top.  I also love the effect of adding a cardigan over overalls.

You can purchase a pair of these toasty winter overalls for $34.50 at Gap stores or at Gap.com.  They are available in sizes from 0-3 to 18-24 months.  They will look equally cute on an infant or toddler and would also make a great gift.

Zutano Roll Neck Holiday Sweater

The bright, colorful stripes on this roll neck sweater by Zutano seem to evoke a holiday feeling. It looks a bit retro, which gives it even more appeal. Made from a cotton/nylon/merino wool blend, the sweater includes the colors mandarin, brick, mallard, stone, cream, and maple. Although this sweater is marketed as a boys sweater, it would look just as appropriate on a girl.

The sweater is available in sizes 12, 18, and 24 months for $44.00 at Zutano.com.

Hartstrings Winter Themed Cardigan Sweater

Hartstrings Winter Themed Cardigan Sweater

Hartstrings always offers classic, high-quality looks for infants and children, and their winter lines this year are no exception.  I quite like this cute little winter themed cardigan.  Made of 100% cotton and machine washable, this sweet little sweater features a pastel color scheme of pink, cream, blue, and green.  I love the little mittens on the sides of the sweater.  This would look great either buttoned up or open over one of the many coordinating shirts available from this line (”Baby It’s Cold”).  Coordinating knit pants are also available.

The sweater comes in sizes from 3-6 up to 24 months.  You can purchase one for $54 at Hartstrings.com.
