Streamline Green Frog Faux Leather Bookend

Streamline Green Frog Bookend

In a room decorated in greens and browns (such as my youngest son’s nursery), this Green Frog Faux Leather Bookend from Streamline is a perfect accessory to really finish it off. Though it’s for ages 3 and up, I’d simply put it up high on my little one’s shelves, plop some books against it, and voila—instant style! It is whimsical and eye-catching with vivid colors and usefulness to boot. Sold for $49.99 at Amazon.com, it’s a gift possibility; it even comes in a drawstring bag. This happy frog is a great find.

Cuddly Frog by Senger

Cuddly Frog by Senger

Designed by Volker Senger and manufactured in Germany, this cute little frog toy is sure to bring a smile to any child’s face.  Made from 100% organic cotton, this toy is filled with pure lambswool for softness and purity.  Removable cherry stones allow you to heat up the toy for extra snuggly fun.  The toy comes in two different sizes.  The smaller version is currently on sale for $46 and the large for $62.  You can purchase both at BranchHome.com.  This eco-friendly toy would make a great gift for any child.

3 Sprouts Frog Bean Bag Chair

I am very impressed by this Frog Bean Bag Chair from 3 Sprouts.  This soft little seat is the perfect place to cuddle up with a good book or settle down to watch a movie.  It is made from soft corduroy, so it is much more comfortable than the vinyl bean bag chairs I remember from my childhood.  It is a lot cuter too–I love the hip design which is just odd enough that it is absolutely adorable.  My kids would love this–if only we had room for it.

You can purchase one of these to jazz up your child’s bedroom or playroom for $168 at Chasing-Fireflies.com.

Bugaboo Frog Footmuff

Bugaboo Frog Footmuff

The inside of this Bugaboo Frog Footmuff is lined with soft fleece that will keep you little one warm on cold days. You just slip this Footmuff into your child’s stroller (using the harness to secure) and you can take your child out in cooler weather without worrying about cold feet. It certainly looks cozy and probably works much better than trying to wrap your child up in a heavy blanket that he will eventually wiggle and slip out of.

The Bugaboo Frog Footmuff is machine washable so you can keep it looking and smelling fresh for baby. Visit  poshtots.com to view this item up close and/or to purchase it for $129.95.

Kettler Sprint Push Bike - Frog

When your child becomes too old for a tricycle but not old enough for a “big kid” bike, this Sprint Push Bike by Kettler might be the way to go. Made of carbon steel, plastic, and rubber, it is designed to be safe and easy for children ages 2 to 6 to ride. The bike has no pedals - it moves from the push of the child’s feet. This helps children develop balance that will be needed to ride a real bicycle later. Plus, using one’s feet to make the bike move is added exercise for your child.

The tires are 12″ and are tubeless, the seat is height-adjustable, and the bike even features a safety handbrake and kickstand, just like a “big kid” bike. Made in Germany, the bike measures 31″ x 24″ x 19″, and will accommodate a child up to 100 lbs.

In addition to this cute frog design, the Kettler Sprint Push Bike comes in a variety of other themes, including Princess and Flame. You can view them all at Maukilo.com, where this bike sells for $124.99.

Chelona Memo Fantasy Frog Wooden Memory Game

Chelona Frog Memory Game

I’m a big fan of board games, so I’ve been eagerly anticipating the age at which my younger daughter will be able to enjoy them with the rest of the family. With her third birthday falling right around Christmas, I’m looking forward to purchasing a few games as gifts for her this holiday season.  It is very important to me, however, that they be high-quality, without all of the little plastic parts that drive me crazy, or batteries that are constantly in need of replacement.

This Memo Fantasy Frog Wooden Memory Game from Chelona recently caught my eye.  It is adorable as can be, with ten cute little frogs for all kinds of matching fun.  The games help little ones learn colors, counting, and other valuable skills. Best of all, everything is made from high-quality wood.  You can purchase this great little game for $39.99 at PetitBaby.com.
