These all-purpose boots are a great boot for all year long. Made of a sheepskin cuff and an innersole that keeps feet dry and cool, or warm, during any season or weather, these are machine washable and handmade in the US. One size fits infants through age 12 months. The ankles are adjustable for snugness, and these boots are easy to get baby’s feet in as they slip on. You can purchase them for $39 a pair at OrganicEcho.com.

Part of Livie & Luca’s Spring 2010 collection, these Emilio’s Navy and Tan Loafers are cute shoes for any little boy (or girl, for that matter). These leather loafers have comfortable, flexible soles and velcro closures, so they’re easy for any little one to put on or take off. They are also described as being perfect for kids with wide feet. These shoes come in sizes from 4 to 12 for $45 at LivieandLuca.com.

One of my pet peeves is socks that won’t stay up. Rock-a-Thigh Baby makes thigh-high socks guaranteed to stay up on babies’ and toddlers’ legs. These give full coverage like tights, yet are convenient to put on and take off like socks. Best of all, this company makes styles for boys and girls (unlike most of these tights companies who cater to females). Available in sizes from 0-6 months to 2-4 years, you can purchase this cute Little Boy Blue style for $14 at RockAThighBaby.com.

This set of animal socks for girls made by Zooni would be a perfect baby shower (or Valentine’s Day) gift for a new mom. Socks that stay up and are stylish at the same time are hard to find, so any parent would appreciate receiving these cute accessories for their baby girl’s feet. Three pairs of socks are included in the set, which comes in sizes from newborn to age 2. They sell for $26 at Lavish.com.

These sweet little sock from eco-friendly favorite Baby Soy are made with soybean fiber for a soft cashmere-like feel. These socks are as absorbent as cotton, and machine washable. They are pretty cute, too, and look like they would stay on better than traditional baby socks. You can purchase a pair for $3.95 at bunnyburybaby.com. Pink, brown, and white versions are also available.

These cute shoes from Pedoodles are functional and easy to match with just about anything in your little guy’s closet. Their eco-friendly design is made from remnants of premium leather. The soles are made for durability and traction. A wide toe box and flexible sole are great for developing feet. Recycled materials are used in making the sole. These shoes are available in a number of early walker and toddler sizes. You can purchase a pair for $36 at BabyAge.com.

Here are some very cute socks that are currently on sale as part of the Gap Holiday sale. There is just something about the shape and color of these socks that appeals to me. They would definitely match a lot of outfits in my younger daughter’s closet. The set of three pairs originally retailed for $10.50, but is currently on sale for $7.99. It is available in infant sizes up to 24 months, and can be purchased at gap.com.

I’ve seen the Ugg booties for infants, which look warm, but not very practical. These “Boo” booties, on the other hand, look as functional as they do warm. These are designed in sizes from infants up to a toddler 7-8, which is what my almost 4-year-old is wearing these days. Elastic at the back keeps them on. At $49.95 these are a lot cheaper than the grown up version, but just as hip. You can purchase a pair at shop.nordstrom.com.

These Hi-Top Velcro Tella Blue Shoes by Kenzo Shoes are super-hip. The bright colors and fun pattern combinations have a bit of 80s flair. Velcro makes them easy to get on and off. Being super-cool, doesn’t come cheap, however. Plan to pay $145.99 to purchase a pair. You can check them out at zandino.com.

These gorgeous baby shoes from Bloch Shoes recently caught my eye. I love the simple styling of these ballet flats. They are made from patent leather for softness and feature a cotton liner for extra comfort. These shoes, which also come in black, are available in infant sizes up to 12 months. I’m not sure how well they will stay on little feet, but they sure are sweet. You can purchase a pair for $46 at RonRobinson.com.

Recently while browsing Etsy seller FrancescaBaby’s shop, I came across these darling Pawprint Booties. Not only do these fleece booties look like they’d keep baby’s feet warm and cozy, but their print is so cute and reminiscent of the holidays. Hand or machine washable, these booties would be easy to care for as well. Best of all, the booties have an adjustable velcro strap to make sure they stay on baby’s feet (the biggest problem I had with baby booties!) You can purchase these at Etsy seller: FrancescaBaby, where they sell for $15 per pair and come in sizes to fit babies’ feet up to age 6-9 months.

I fall in love with every pair of Livie & Luca shoes that I see. The Pio Pio Mary Jane is no exception. I am quite taken with the sweet birdies on these practical mary janes. I buy lots of bird items for my middle daughter, who has a bird name, and these would be a perfect addition to her wardrobe. I’m just a little nervous that her tomboy ways would have these white shoes ruined in a single day. They are available in toddler sizes from 5-11 and retail for $45. You can purchase a pair at globalenfant.com.

Add some cheer to your little one’s holiday wardrobe with these Christmas Cheeritights from Trumpette. The fun red and green prints really pop. You are sure to get compliments wherever you go all season long. You can purchase a pair of these fun tights, available in infant sizes up to 18 months, at trumpette.com. They retail for $23.50.

Want to to dress your little one with some funky European flair? Check out these Andy Tracks shoes from favorite sock maker Trumpette. Available in infant sizes up to 24 months, these shoes come in a number of bright color combinations. I’m not sure how comfortable these PVC creations would be, but they sure are fun. You can purchase a pair for $29.50 at trumpette.com.

I like these fun blue shoes from Vincent. Easy to get on and off, they are a color of blue that will match with just about anything. I picture them with a denim skirt and some fun tights, but they would look equally great with jeans. The cute little butterflies add an extra touch of fun. They are available in a number of toddler sizes. You can purchase a pair for $23.98 (50% off) at modernmoppet.com.
