Tulip Fairy Infant/Toddler Costume

Tulip Fairy Infant/Toddler Costume

Here is a fun costume for little girls who love to get all dressed up. Designed to fit toddlers up to 24 months, this fairy costume includes a shimmering dress, matching booties, and a fancy headpiece and wings. This is the kind of thing that my middle daughter would want to wear for dress up throughout the year. You can purchase one for $24.99 at HalloweenExpress.com. The only downside to this one is that it may not work so well in cooler weather.

Pottery Barn Kids Fairy Mobile

Pottery Barn Kids Fairy Mobile

Here is an ultra-sweet and very feminine mobile that would make the perfect finishing touch to your little one’s nursery. I think it would match with a lot of different crib sets from many different manufacturers. The mobile plays “Hush Little Baby” while the adorable little cloth fairies circle your baby’s head. I absolutely love it. You can purchase one for $59.95 at potterybarnkids.com.

Baby Gap Fairy Footed Sleeper

Baby Gap Fairy Footed Sleeper

My little one is a master of kicking off her socks.  During the day I can somewhat keep it under control by putting her in Robeez. At night, however, I like to have her in footed pajamas.  I’ve been disappointed to discover, however, that many of the brands I have always relied on for cotton footed pajamas no longer make them. I can find lots of fleecy pajamas, and cotton pajamas with no feet, but footed cotton jammies seem to be few and far between.  Baby Gap seems to be the last holdout with regard to this trend.  Thankfully, they are still making them. I have a few pairs of these left from when my middle daughter was a baby, but we definitely need more. I like this cute blue fairy version, which is very similar to one of my existing favorites. It zips down the leg for quick diaper changes. I find this is much appreciated for diaper changes at night when you don’t want to be fumbling with a bunch of snaps. Best of all, its 100% cotton fabric is decorated with a very cute print of fairies. It is available in sizes from 3-6 months up to 5T. You can purchase one for $22 at gap.com. For a limited time, if you buy two or more, they are $19 each.

Woodland Fairy Forest Playset

Woodland Fairy Forest Playset

The wooden fairy doll play sets on Etsy seller theenchantedcupboard’s store are innovative and captivating. You really have to have a look at all of them, especially the wooden playboxes (great for traveling with) and my favorite, the Deluxe Woodland Fairy Forest Playset for $48. Purchase some fairy dolls to go with it and your child can re-enact her much-loved fairy stories (or invent her own.) Not for children who still put toys in their mouths.

Airy Fairy Baby Swing from Haba

Airy Fairy Baby Swing from Haba

This is the first baby swing I’ve seen that has a canopy attached to it. It almost looks like a glider. Having an indoor swing like this Airy Fairy Baby Swing from Haba will help entertain your children on rainy days or on days when your child may be getting over a cold and needs to stay indoors. If you’re purchasing a swing you want to be sure it’s of good dependable quality with a secure system for attaching the swing to the ceiling.

The Airy Fairy Baby Swing features extra security features to ensure your child fits safely into the swing. It has safety straps in the front and back, a high seat and netting on the back of the seat to help keep your child cool and allows air to circulate.

The polyester fabric is washable. The maximum weight load is 45 lbs. Designed in Germany but you can order yours at oompa.com for $119.99.

Fairy Birth Announcements by Inviting Smiles

Fairy VRAS Birth Announcements

The border of this Fairy Birth Announcement by Inviting Smiles says “Thank heaven for little girls!” I was just looking through a line of birth announcements that include baby’s picture and there were certainly many designs to choose from. These Birth Announcements  caught my eye because they look three-dimensional with the watercolor flowers design printed on a vellum overlay and the attached organdy ribbon.

There are several styles from which to choose from at  InvitingSmiles.com, all or most of which are adorned with a vellum overlay and matching organdy ribbon. These announcements are priced at $1.79 each with a minimum order of 25. You can pre-order your baby’s birth announcements or purchase them as a baby shower gift. The new mom will then be able to decide on a design and provide the new baby’s vital information. I think it’s a nice idea for a shower gift because it’s thoughtful and unusual.

Flower Fairy Swim Diaper by Luna Luna Copenhagen

With swim season upon us and a not quite potty trained two year old, I’m on the lookout for an environmentally-friendly alternative to disposable swim diapers which, in my opinion, don’t seem to work very well anyway. This may well be the most beautiful swim diaper I have ever seen.

Made by Luna Luna Copenhagen, it is absorbent, reusable, and decorated with beautiful flowers. I’m a little afraid that my daughter wouldn’t leave those flowers alone, but the pool may be a big enough distraction. This piece usually retails for $36, but you can buy one on sale now for $25 at itsaragdollslife.com.
