I was recently given a sample of Wysi Wipes to try, and I must say, I’m hooked! These unique wipes by Canawipe Distributors, Ltd. look like small, white tablets. However, when water hits them, they unfold into strong, durable wipes that can be used for a variety of tasks. These would be great to carry in a diaper bag or purse, and they can’t dry out (they aren’t wet until you add water to them). Their Martha Stewart Living special package contains two 100 piece bags and four 12 piece bags, and sells for $29.95 at Canawipe.com.

Parents love 7 AM for its bright and cozy bunting/stroller sacs. Now the company has brought that same style and convenience to a fun and practical diaper tote. This sporty bag comes in a number of fun colors to coordinate with the stroller sacs. These bags are made to be light but roomy, with lots of compartments and pockets to keep you organized. This will also make a great overnight bag post-diaper use. You can purchase one for $124 at artebebe.com.

Here is a cute alternative to a full-blown diaper bag. Made by LillyBit, this diaper clutch can be worn over the shoulder or used as a clutch. Although compact, it is large enough to hold diapers, wipes, and even a tube of diaper rash cream. Several fun patterns are available, but this Maui Floral is my personal favorite. You can purchase one for $37.70 (down from $68) at babyage.com.

I was admiring the diaper bag of the woman in front of me at the pediatrician’s office this morning. When she started a conversation, I took the opportunity to ask about it. I would have guessed it was from Room 7, but it was actually an Oilily (which would have been my second guess). I liked it so much, I looked for it online, but couldn’t find it. Along the way, I did find this V-Baby model, which is pretty fun. Even better, I found an incredible cake-rendering of the bag. You can buy the bag for $174.94 at littledudesanddivas.com. Check out the cake at pastrychik.blogspot.com.

I’ve been carrying a diaper bag for almost four years straight, and I’ve just come to terms with it. Some people, however, would rather transition away from bulky bags as their children grow. That’s exactly what this changing pad is designed to accommodate. This particular model is made with the needs of a larger, toddler-sized child in mind. It holds diapers and wipes and folds up compactly. It is made in the USA and comes in chocolate with either pink or blue embroidery. You can purchase one of these sets for $50 at dandelionbaby.com.

I love the hip styling of this Chocolate Mod Rodeo Drive Tote Diaper Bag by Amy Michelle. I’m afraid I’m done buying diaper bags, but this great crossover tote sure is tempting, especially since it is currently on sale. I love the combination of browns and slate blue. Like most diaper bags these days, this one has pockets for everything a busy mom needs–diapers, cell phone, keys, etc. You can purchase one for $58.50 (down from $65) at jujubeaneboutique.com.

I like the idea of a go anywhere book for babies but I think that unless it has a Velcro attachment or something to keep it in place, most babies will grab it and pull it out of place (but possibly be unable to put it back upright and become frustrated.) Full of texture and patterns and reflections (baby safe mirror), it’s a great idea, something a baby can play with or look at from birth until they are well over a year old, and nice to have for the crib, buggy, change table, or playpen. $19.14 at Amazon.com.

What do you call your little one? Whatever it might be, there are nickname onesies, play suits, baseball tees, and matching hats at Parade.ca. I especially like the play suits, my favorite being the “Monkey” or “Bug.” In sizes 3-6 or 6-12 Months, you can get your choice for $39 and while you’re at it, why not get a hat to match? The best thing about the pants? They fit over a cloth diaper. Thumbs up to that.

If you’re like me, you like lots of pockets for storing various things in a diaper bag. The more organized, the better, whether it’s diaper bags or handbags. That’s why I love these Customized Diaper Bags by Fabricated Frames. The front pocket is a fabric frame, which has velcro and can be used as either a frame or a pocket - clever! The side pockets are insulated with InsulBright, allowing containers to retain heat and only losing up to 10 degrees an hour. This beautiful bag has many more uses than as a diaper bag, too, when your baby grows out of the diaper stage. With nine total pockets, and an adjustable shoulder strap, this diaper bag is well worth the price of $30 that it sells for at FabricatedFrames.com.

If you are feeling guilty about all the plastic water bottles you’ve consumed in the last decade, you’ll be glad to know that they are being recycled into useful products like this sleek diaper bag by Amy Michelle. This practical black bag will match any outfit, and its myriad pockets will help keep you organized on the go. You can purchase these eco-friendly bag for $75 at jujubeaneboutique.com. Each bag is made from an estimated 11 plastic bottles and 8.5 oz of recycled fabric.

I love poppies, and I’m addicted to diaper bags, so this fun bag caught my attention immediately. I also liked the fact that it is made in the USA, and its made from vinyl, not leather, which is a huge plus if, like me, you’re a vegetarian. It includes a roomy interior with convenient pockets to hold all of your baby’s essentials. External pockets hold things like keys and phones that you need to keep handy. You can purchase one of these eye-catching bags for $89 at dandelionbaby.com. I think you could get away with this as a work or travel bag once your little one outgrows diapers.

As I was chatting with a friend about Kushies cloth diapers, I perused Kushies.com, looking for something I wanted to point out to her. I found the liners I was looking for and also found the new line of diapers. Kushies now has some very modern patterns that I adore. Splashes of color adorn the Ultra Lite Washable Diapers, giving them almost a graffiti art feel. In greens and blues for boys and pinks and oranges for girls, they’re only $13.99 for singles and $68.99 (Toddler sizes 22-45 pounds) for a 5-pack. There are even matching on-the-go wet bags. I am definitely going to look into buying some for my youngest son.
