This Travel Baby quilt from Pitter Patter Collections is both pretty and practical. Made to match Pitter Patter’s Jasmine line of nursery bedding, this quilt is slightly smaller than an average crib quilt, measuring 36″ x 36″ square. It is therefore perfect for babies who are on the go–you can take it to daycare, Grandma’s house, throw it in the pack-n-play, etc.
The quilt is made from a gorgeous pink paisley print with a whimsical elephant square in the center. The elephant has a great vintage appeal that looks like something from my own babyhood in the 70s. The combination of these prints is eye-catching and unique. It is not surprising that celebrities such as Denise Richards, Julia Roberts, and Courteney Cox-Arquette are all fans of the company’s designs.
You can purchase this great quilt for $79 at StellaMaternity.com. Additional items from the Jasmine line are also available.

Zoobie Pets makes an adorable line of products which has won them the adoration of celebrity fans such as Denise Richards, Leah Remini, and Ali Landry, to name a few. With such cute and cuddly products, their success is no surprise. The company has also won a number of awards for its innovative designs.
Inside each fun stuffed toy is a soft blanket that your child is sure to love. The pet’s head makes a cozy pillow. I think my favorite is this cute little hippo named Hada, but there are many other great styles to choose from as well. I am thinking that this would be a great blanket to send to daycare. It would also make a wonderful holiday or birthday gift.
Zoobie Pets are available for $28.49 (on sale) at GlammaGems.com.

Denise Richards and Tori Spelling are among the celebrity moms who have picked up clothing from RuffleButts for their children. Although the company is best known, as its name suggests, for its ruffly-bottomed pants and bloomers, it makes some pretty cute dresses, tops, and other items too. I am partial to this Dancing Dot Peasant top.
In general, I love peasant tops on my girls, and the style is perfect for fall weather. I am drawn to the cheerful colors of this limited edition shirt, which is trimmed in bright red and closes in the back for quick changes. It would look great with jeans, or you can pair it with one of the company’s bloomers, as shown.
You can purchase the top for $32 at www.rufflebutts.com. It is available in sizes from 3-6 months to 2T.

If your baby is teething, you know how important it is to have a safe teether around when you need it. That is the idea behind these great necklaces from Smart Moms. Already embraced by celebrity parents such as Denise Richards and Tori Spelling, these necklaces look great–you would never guess that the “stones” are actually cleverly-disguised teethers.
I really like the look of this gold metallic version, which will be released soon (its estimated release date is 9/22/08). You can purchase one for a very reasonable $19.10 at smartmomjewelry.com. Best of all the mom-founded company gives a portion of its profits to charity.

Pediped is one of the biggest names in children’s shoes at the moment. Strangely enough, I have yet to purchase any for our family. After stumbling upon this pair of pink flower Mary Jane shoes, however, that is about to change. I love the design of these shoes. The cheerful flower print would coordinate well with a lot of the clothes in my daughter’s wardrobe.
Made of 100% leather, Pedipeds are made to be soft and cushion growing feet. There are tons of styles to choose from for both boys and girls. Their cool styles and high-quality construction have made them a favorite with celebrity parents such as Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, and Denise Richards.
You can buy this particular pair for $38 at shopkitson.com.

These shoes have received a lot of press recently, after Tom Cruise told Oprah that they were Suri’s favorites. Denise Richards is also a big fan of the line. The shoes really are sweet. Suri’s pair feature ladybugs, but you can also buy frogs, cows, bugs, pigs, spiders, monsters, bees, and of course, monkeys.
Shoes are made from painted canvas with a rubber sole. Although I definitely think they are cute, to me they don’t look like they have a ton of support for little feet. Since the line has so many fans, however, I may be wrong! You can buy a pair for $29 at monkey-toes.com. Matching socks are also available.

Oprah named Kashwere’s robes to her favorite things list in 2005. Sarah Jessica Parker’s son has a cover-up made by the company. Numerous celebrity parents including Jennifer Garner, Denise Richards, and Kate Hudson are fans of Kashwere. So, what is Kashwere? It is a soft fabric is designed to be a practical alternative to cashmere. It is used in the robes featured at many high end spas due to its luxurious feel. The company’s super-soft line of infant and children’s products brings that same level of luxury to your little one. At $68 this cardigan is a little pricey, but much less so than cashmere. You can buy one at kashwereathome.com.

All babies look adorable in bathing suits, but these suits form Eberjey take beach fashion to a whole new level. These very classicand feminine suits have been featured in Child magazine, and they are being snapped up left and right by celebrities and other style-conscious parents. Suri Cruise and Denise Richards’ daughter Lola have both been photographed in the adorable Pink Mermaid one piece. You can buy one of these suits for your own miniature mermaid for around $60. Baby Lulu is hands down my favorite line of clothing for my daughters. The clothes are beautifully-designed and well-made. I’ve had a few seams unravel over the years, but considering what my girls put them through, they have held up very well. I love the way this line blends the classic and the trendy. The designers have a great eye for color and pattern combinations. Most of the clothes are made of super-soft cotton, so you can dress your little ones well without worrying about their comfort. Their bathing suits are by far the cutest we have ever owned. The line has become a favorite of celebrity moms such as Heidi Klum, Denise Richards, Marcia Cross, and Brooke Shields. The down side of the line’s popularity is that it is often difficult to find it discounted. Even on ebay the prices reach close to the suggest retail, and sometimes above for hard to find items. One of my favorite Baby Lulu retailers is forgetmenotkids.com. The dress shown is from the Pop Art line, and retails for $34.

I stumbled upon this line of kids’ shirts and onesies recently, and I have absolutely fallen in love with them. In most cases I won’t buy anything for my kids to wear that has writing on it. I think it tends to look a bit cheap, and I don’t want them to be walking advertisements. I think I could make an exception for these shirts, however. Made to look like concert tees, they manage to mix punk rock with childhood innocence. They feature funky drawings and quirky descriptions drawn from familiar nursery rhymes. I think my favorite is a red thermal shirt that reads “London Bridge: The Falling Down Tour.” The stylishness of this line has already made it a big hit with celebrities. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have purchased a number of the shirts for their children. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck and Denise Richards are also fans. Prices range from $35-$40. You can purchase the collection at cribrockcouture.com.

These super-soft plush blankets seem to be all over the press these days. Violet Affleck, the daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner is rarely photographed without one. Other celebrities who are fans of this line include Melissa Joan Hart, Heidi Kulm, and Denise Richards. The Max Daniel baby blankets come in a wide range of colors and both full-size (36 x 32) and security (17 x 17) versions. I have yet to see one of these blankets in person, but they sure do look cozy. And, unlike some celebrity favorites, this one is reasonably affordable, with prices ranging from $22-$68. You can buy them at www.tinytotboutique.com.

The Lulu the Lamb chair seems to be one of babystyle’s signature pieces. It is awfully cute. Julia Roberts and Denise Richards both picked out this chair. Brooke Shields bought it to go with her lamb-themed nursery. I haven’t experienced the Lulu the Lamb chair in person, but I have seen it in the catalogue and on the Web site so much that it feels like an old familiar friend. I have several times been tempted to buy one because they are very sweet, and they look very soft, but I just don’t think I have space for one at the moment! If you are more blessed with space than I am, you can buy one for $78 at www.babystyle.com (really $88 once they tack on the oversized item surcharge).
