Red Baron Crib Bedding by Banian

Red Baron Crib Bedding

Though $349.95 is an upscale price for crib bedding, the Red Baron Crib Bedding set by Banian is a bright and happy one that really gives bang for your buck. The quilt is crafted by hand, while the characters on it are created by Jim Edmiston. The pillow would make a nice accent for a nursery rocker and the entire thing would look pretty in a green or yellow room. The friendly characters suit a boy or a girl and are sure to bring smiles to everyone’s faces. A lush gift for a loving friend or relative, I found it at OneStepAhead.com.

Amy Coe Pink Pop Bedding Set

Amy Coe Pink Pop Bedding Set

This Pink Pop bedding set from Amy Coe’s Babies R Us line looks a lot more expensive than it is.  Reminiscent of some of the pricier sets I have seen lately, this four piece set has an elegant floral print in shades of pink and white.  It includes a dust ruffle, a fitted crib sheet, a bumper, and a comforter.  The comforter’s cover is removable for easier cleaning.  All pieces are machine washable.

I think this would really make any little girl’s nursery special.  The line also includes a number of products to finish your nursery, from a cute mobile to wall art.  I am very impressed by the look of this set, and I am even more impressed by the price.  You can purchase one for $169.99 at ToysRUs.com.

Olli and Lime George Crib Quilt

If you aren’t planning to use a bumper in your crib, buying a nice crib quilt is a good way to get a high-end look without paying for something you won’t be able to use.  This George crib quilt from Olli and Lime caught my eye for that very reason.  Made from 100% organic cotton, this piece features a fresh, modern design in lime and chocolate.  It is very gender-neutral, and would be easy to match with solid colored sheets and a crib skirt, to create a complete look.  I can envision a lot of great nursery accessories that would match as well.

When your child outgrows a crib, this quilt is also a perfect fit for a toddler bed.  Even though my two year old is now in a twin bed, she still uses her crib quilt for daycare.  You will definitely get a lot of use out of one of these great quilts.  You can purchase one for $120 at tinydecor.com.  Even adding in sheets and a crib skirt, you will spend less than you would on many sets.

Blu Panel Crib by Bratt Decor

My family has got to get serious about shopping for nursery furniture soon.  In the last few months, I have gotten very fond of modern-style cribs.  Unfortunately, I don’t think my partner is going to go for it.  This Blu Panel Crib from Bratt Decor is a great example of the clean, modern designs that I really admire.

Made by Bratt Decor, a favorite with numerous celebrity parents, including Halle Berry, this crib is well-made, with sleek, contemporary lines that will really make your nursery stand out.  The crib is available in either mocha (shown above) or wheat finishes.  Optional suede panels are available at an additional cost to add color to the crib.  For an additional $130, you can purchase a kit that allows you to convert the crib into a toddler bed so that it will grow with your child.  All you need are some crisp, modern linens to make this the perfect bed for your infant.

You can purchase the crib for $1048 at 2sweetsisters.com.

Magic Garden Crib Set by litto kids

Magic Garden Crib Set by litto kids

Here is a great crib set from litto kids.  What I love about this set is that it is not overly feminine.  The print is very clean and modern, and I love the color scheme of blues, greens, and oranges.  Although a bit unconventional, it works beautifully.  I think it would be easy to accessorize this set to make a gorgeous, modern nursery.

The set includes a fitted sheet, a bumper, crib skirt, and comforter.  Although I personally never use a bumper, I quite enjoy the great retro-inspired print of the fabric used on this one.  It can be purchased for $270 at mod + mini.

Balli Belly Jacky Crib and Car Seat Toy by Ohio Art

Balli Belly Jacky Crib and Car Seat Toy

Kids love to put the ball in the hole, over and over and over again. That’s why I know this award-winning Balli-Belly Jacky Crib and Car Seat Toy will keep them happy and occupied for longer than you might think. Of course, the best part is having you play with them, congratulating them when they get the ball in the hole. You’ll see, or rather hear, their delight as they laugh and giggle over their success.

You can attach the Balli Belly to your child’s crib or car seat. It’s also great practice for your child’s hand and eye coordination development. And just to make it a little more fun, Balli Belly Jacky’s feet rattle and his nose squeaks.

Balli Belly Jacky measures  17 3/4″ x 18 1/8″ x 5 1/2″ and is designed for ages 9 months and up. You can buy one for $57.95 at sensoryedge.com.
