Lucky Jade Dandelion Cotton Cashmere Blanket

Lucky Jade Dandelion Cotton Cashmere Blanket

Lucky Jade is known for its high-quality cashmere products which have made the company a favorite with celebrity parents including Angelina Jolie, Marcia Cross, and Patrick Dempsey. The products have also been featured in Child and American Baby magazines.

I am particularly enamored with this Dandelion blanket. Available in either pink or ivory, this sweater knit blanket is made of a cashmere cotton blend that offers the best of both worlds: incredible softness and machine washability. The dandelion design is simple yet modern. Your little one will feel incredibly snug in this blanket, and you will feel incredibly hip carrying it.

The blanket measures 27″ L x 32″ W. You can purchase one for $68 at designpublic.com.

Lucy & Michael Play Tent

Lucy & Michael Play Tent

These upscale play tents from Lucy & Michael were developed by two moms whose kids loved tent play. Tired of the ugly and flimsy plastic tents on the market, they developed these attractive alternatives.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. The tents have been featured in publications such as Cookie magazine, Dwell, Child, and even the New York Times. There are a number of fabrics to choose from, so you can pick something masculine, feminine, or gender neutral.

When open, the tents measure 5 feet square and are 5 feet tall. They fold for storage. Kids will love to play in the tent, and parents will love the attractive appearance. They are also great for disguising a bit of toy clutter in a hurry! You can purchase one for $325 at lucyandmichael.com.

Baby Bean Vintage Daywear by Christine Visneau

I just discovered this line and am absolutely in love with it. Made by Christine Visneau with some help from a few stay at home moms, these clothes are simple and chic. They are designed for girls from ages 6 months to 6 years. The pictured dress is the Montana Wrap Dress from the Sring/Summer 2008 line. It comes in several different fabrics. The company’s products have been receiving a lot of positive press, including mentions in Parents, Child, Cookie, and Parenting magazines, to name a few. I’m guessing we will be seeing more and more of this brand in the future. The Montana Wrap dress sells for $78. You can buy one at babybeanwear.com.

Space Frame

I remember when I was little, my brother and I used to take all of the pillows from our bedrooms and stack them up to build forts. We felt so cool that we had our own space to play that no one else was allowed into. The problem with pillows is that they used to fall down and you could never quite get it the same way again. That’s one of the things that makes the Space Frame so great. Your kids can build forts and tunnels or whatever else their hearts desire with these huge building blocks and they’ll stay but. They are also super durable, yet still soft to the touch and very easy to use. This environmentally preferable toy is made from 100% recycled plastic soda bottles and was featured in Child Magazine. The set contains 20 pieces and is recommended for children 2 and up. It goes for $199.00 on www.modernseed.com.
