My kids are big on bath toys. I, on the other hand, have become wary of many of the most popular styles because they collect water, germs, and eventually mildew. I remember as a new mom one of the things that frightened me most was baby’s bath time. It just seemed to me that so much could go wrong: baby could slip out of my hands while I was bathing him, hit his head on the sink or baby bathtub, the list went on and on. While I think it was the fun chairs in the promotional photo that first caught my eye, these hooded towels from DwellStudio Baby are a lot of fun. I’m not a big fan of hooded towels for the early infant days–I think a regular bath towel is just as easy to use, more absorbent, and generally less expensive. I do, however, love hooded towels for my toddler (and, I’ll admit, my 10 year old).  These hip towels are big enough for an older child to use, and the 210 thread count Egyptian cotton, makes them extra cozy. I didn’t discover this product until after my last pregnancy, but I wish that I had found it sooner. I am a huge fan of Weleda’s infant line, so I would have loved to have given this a try. Perhaps it could have saved me a few stretch marks! While I doubt it is a miracle preventative, I’m a firm believer in that which might help and can’t hurt.
