I just recently discovered Hurley’s surf-inspired line of clothing for infants and toddlers. I found a great shirt for my infant at TJ Maxx. Unfortunately, I looked at the size wrong, and got home to discover it is too small! I liked it so much, though, that I decided to keep it for gift-giving rather than return it. I was also inspired to check out the company’s Web site, where I discovered many other fun tees. I especially like this silly Many Flahica Tee. Any baby, boy or girl, would look sweet as can be in this Apple of My Eye Lap Tee. I was recently introduced to Squishy Fish, a Canadian company that produces organic tees and onesies for babies and toddlers. They carry a line of eco-themed designs, such as this “Grow” design. All of their onesies and tees are made of 100% certified organic chemical-free, unbleached cotton. Their unique environmentally-themed styles combined with the practicality and benefit to not only a child but to the universe makes them stand out among other organic children’s clothing lines. Here is an adorable t-shirt for the warmer weather that is almost here. These cotton shirts from Mini Boden come in three different colors, each with their own farmyard favorite: Red (pig), Green (cow), and Blue (Hen). Any of these would be a great way to introduce your little one to animal sounds or encourage older babies to join you in a round of Old McDonald. I’m a big fan of simple bright colored shirts like this, and especially love ones that have an envelope neckline which make dressing my fidgety twins so much easier. There’s an age when you can dress your son in shirts like this one without embarassing him - my guess is up until about age 6. This Heartbreaker Raglan Boys T Shirt by Baby Gap is made of comfortable 100% cotton and in the style of a baseball jersey, so it’s warm enough for chilly spring mornings. I’m tempted to buy one for my son, since he’s always telling me about all of his “girlfriends” at preschool.

If you’re a fan of Gwen Stefani, as I am, but can’t afford her Harajuku Lovers clothing line for kids, sometimes you can catch a good sale. I found the 90% cotton/10% spandex Harajuku Lovers Baby 2fer layered tee (alternate side says Harajuku Lovers) for $16.99 at TuttiBella.com. Not bad at 51% off. I tried to access the matching pants for $19.99 at the bottom of the page but continuously was taken to the wrong page (I think it’s an old link.) It’s unfortunate because they were super cute and I’m not sure you can actually grab them up for your little one to go with the top. Only available in 6/9 Month sizes, this layered shirt is a designer shirt at not-so-designer prices.

This cute t-shirt by Mini Boden is just perfect for the coming months. I particularly like this duck appliqué one for Easter and spring, which would suit either a boy or a girl. Even if it might still be a little chilly it can be worn with a long sleeved t-shirt underneath.  The Big Applique T-shirt also comes in other designs like an apple, turtle or whale. I’m a big fan of the Mini Boden line. Just recently I’ve been having a hard time finding nice clothes for a 2 year old boy – there just doesn’t seem to be the variety out there like there is for girls, but I have always been happy with my purchases from this website and the wide array of choices they have.

These cheerful t-shirts are wonderful, but I would advise you to buy one size bigger than you think your child might need as they do seem to run on the small size. We got our son the lobster one last year in his size, but he outgrew it well before t-shirt wearing season was over. These are very well made cotton t-shirts and the appliqué is long lasting. Almost everyone I know who has little boys is hooked on Tea clothing for them.  The company offers one of the best selections of clothing for boys that isn’t sports or dinosaur themed.  This Viking Ship Tee is a good example of their crisp, clean designs.  I love the deep blue of the background, and the Viking theme is fun and unique.  Any little guy would look great in this shirt, and it will likely fire his imagination as well.  Pair it with either jeans or khakis for a great casual look.  You could also layer it under a button-down shirt.  You can purchase one for $26 at HeyPeanut.com.  It is available in sizes from 6-12 months up to 4T.
