Fluffy Chick and Friends (cloth book) by Roger Priddy

Here’s another great book by Roger Priddy. Just like Squishy Turtle and Friends, Fluffy Chick and Friends is made of cloth and very baby friendly. Every page introduces babies and toddlers to a new barnyard animal, like a pig or cow. My twins love all the different textures and the crinkly sound of the cover, and the best part is that I don’t have to say no to them when the book automatically goes into their mouths. My son’s personal favorite for a long time was the protruding pig’s tail that he was very content to suck on.

Young readers will love hearing you make the sounds for each animal and once your children are a little older, they will be sure to appreciate the cute rhyming text in addition to the colorful pictures. There’s even a Velcro strap to close the book shut that as you can probably guess babies adore playing with.
