Taut Canvas makes a unique Core Values series of artwork combining modern art with words or values to teach children. The one in the photo above is “Responsibility.” Other styles in the series include Compassion, Honesty, Sharing, Patience, and Respect. This is a great idea, not only for beautiful artwork for the nursery or child’s bedroom, but as a way to help instill these important values in children. Each print comes in either an 18″ x 18″ or 40″ x 40″ size, and is treated with an eco-friendly liquid laminate, guaranteeing the print life to 80 years and enhancing its color. The taut canvas collection is beautiful. I just bought a canvas gift certificate for a friend’s new baby. They were delighted with such a wonderful gift that they could pick out themselves on-line. I will keep this in mind for the next baby gift I buy.

November 20th, 2009 at 10:40 pmI ordered honesty and sharing for my nieces for Christmas They arrived today and are going to be the perfect gift (for their mom too!). Tried to find these at stores but no luck. The online ordering was easy, tho.
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:31 pmWe just had a baby and we got “Respect” for our nursery. We love the themes and the simple, yet creative designs. Now we just have to get the rest of the series to complete the nursery decorations!
November 27th, 2009 at 4:58 pmOh how I wish these wonderful prints were around when my son was born. Beautifully illustrated with a simple but meaningful message. I ordered Sharing, Respect, and Patience for a friend’s little girl. I think the next batch will be for another friend who’s little boy is due around Christmas. Can’t think of a better present.
November 27th, 2009 at 10:39 pmMy favorite Taut Canvas pieces are Honesty and Compassion, although I would love to have them ALL! I’m in my late 20’s and have a large circle of mommy and daddy’s to be that would appreciate having them up in their nurseries. I love that it teaches about the CORE VALUES that we all need to keep in mind, not just for the kids. Thanks for making them available!
