What’s in My Child’s Closet? Baby Gap Sweater Vest

My mom always told me that I looked good in red and apparently our youngest son, who looks like me, followed in my footsteps. Yesterday, he had on a red Baby Gap Sweater Vest with a penguin on it. It really complimented his coloring. Underneath, I paired it with a Tommy Hilfiger Baby white long-sleeved shirt with red and blue T-O-M-M-Y letters all over it and a simple pair of blue pants. Though I could not locate the vest online any longer, there are other cute options in sweater vests for baby boys for just $24.50. It’s a great option if you’re looking for dressy but not overdressed. If I wanted to make it less casual, I’d pair it with khakis, cords, or dressy jeans and a blue button-down shirt. The best thing is that a large range of sizes is offered; you can dress your baby up at 0-3, 3-6, 6-12, 12-18, or 18-24 Months.

He’s quite a sweetie, Teresa. I love those cheeks. The vest is pretty cute, too–I’m always a sucker for penguins.
