Amy Kett’s hand knit Crankypants will have you feeling anything but cranky. These adorable pants (available in either a long or a short version) feature monster faces or other fun designs on their seats. A friend turned me on to these a while back. I didn’t have a child the right age at the time, but I passed the link on to many friends because they are so irresistible. You can purchase a pair of these much sought-after pants for $70 at crankypantshome.com. The bad news is that there is a waiting list, and it is a long one. The Web site reports, however, that they are in negotiations to contract out work to a knitting cooperative. Hopefully these trendy pants will be more readily available soon!
These are adorable! They would make a great gift for my best friend’s toddler.
